I fucking love Novelists, been a fan since the Matteo days and I think its impossible for these guys to release a song or album I wont enjoy. Interesting to see how they've grown as musicians, had the fortune of meeting Flo and Pierre in Berlin for the Architects tour they are absolute legends and I look forward to their next UK or EU tour

She's got a really great voice (she featured on their old song C'est la Vie too which is sick). Unfortunately this new Novelists sound does absolutely nothing for me, they've lost all of their character. I would kill for more music like the first three albums. Seems like their formula recently has been simple three note down tuned riffs and then a solo chucked in at the end. I really really miss the intricacy and atmosphere their music had, it's completely gone.

People very quick to want old stuff that’s had time to burrow into tastes earned through time, but there’s no progression with regression. Knowing what this band has in their locker, this is a great introductory track for Camille. There’s still plenty of music to come, let them cook.

Agree with you, but a large part of me misses Mateo's clean vocals. He was simply irreplaceable in my mind. I didn't even listen to Novelists while they had the other guy, but she's definitely a better fit. Again, my opinion.

Ehhhh I don’t agree at all. This literally sounds like all the same essential Novelists elements but with a different singer. So the chorus is poppy, did you even listen to Deja Vu? The great thing about prog metal is how it takes elements from all types of other music genres. There have even been rap elements in Novelists songs. I still love and support this band, but I feel like Mattéo’s vocals is what tied it together for me. But I can respect his decision to leave the band and Novelists continuing to move forward. And I’m looking to see what Mattéo has in store for us with his new band Sal3m

While Pierre is playing there's all sorts of what sound like random noises in the background totally obscuring what he is doing, and Flo's solo is turned down really low so that it's almost inaudible. I wouldn't push these guys into the background.

This is a catchy song, but let's face it: their music with Mateo was so much more unique/catchier. Mateo had a nice somber, clean vocal and was so good at phrasing with lyrics ontop of their instrumentation.
