Hi Stephanie hope you're doing well, quick question: would you trust all these processing times changes that have been going on lately at USCIS webpage?? its super crazy how i-130 for LPR changed from 66.5 months to 7 months in a matter of days/02weeks.. right now our petition has passed the due current processing times and we're planning on submitting a request for 'case outside of normal processing times'.. thanks for your advice!

First of all thank you for making life easier for millions of people like me and second I had a question, I had my fiancé interview on 25.11.2020 and they said to me that I needed to send them some more proofs and also delivery confirmation page but they returned my passport back to me and kept all my other documents that I had provided them! So now I am really worried what will happen but they said that they will reply to me through email address! What do think sir what could happen, I have sent them lots of proofs and evidence right after my interview

I filled my 485, i765 and 131 in Aug. got receipt notice in a month and nothing after that. Today as of Nov 20, I see on USCIS website that, no action on 765 and 131 but for 485 (me my wife and son all 3) its saying sent a mail to “Request for initial evidence “ do you know what it could be for ?
Looks like USCIS doesn’t seem to process Applications in the correct order. Date has become current on August visa bulletin. USCIS is yet to pick the case. When SR is raised it’s closed with reason date is not current. Date is current since August VB. Same response for expedite SR and senator query. what’s the way out.

I filled for my children 12 months in to the process i filled for an inquiry a week later they where transfered to NVC where Affidavit of Support and fees need to be paid before interview dont know much but hope it helps you
Really 2 yrs is pretty long. By now, it should have been approved and send to the National visa center so u pay for the visa processing and affidavit of support by now. U should definitely call USCIS bro.

It depends on what category you applied for (ie Parents (US citizens) filing for Married children is (F3), your priority date, and country from which you will be coming from. Then you can locate that line on the visa and see the date they are up to.

Awww man bro. Feel sorry abt yours. It means she was probably a week or so from getting interview date until Trump put the ban in place April 30th. At that point everything stopped. U will have to wait till the virus goes down and they resume everything. Good news is once the lift the ban, I’m sure u will be the first to hear from them.
I'm talking about a family visa. My sister is an American citizen. My visa is in F4 category. My interview and all the paperwork are complete. My passport is lying at the US Embassy. Now I had to get the passport after getting the visa stamped. How long will the family visa F category be open? Can there be any court proceedings so that the visa process can be completed soon.

I emailed the U.S. Immigration Department to ask if my case was dismissed. My case has not been cancelled. But, I thought it was cancelled. I gave them my case receipt number. They didn't reply to the email. Will I have a problem?
I think they said they extended it for a year or so so if yours hasn’t been a year, u should be good for now. U should probably talk to an immigration lawyer abt this.

Usually the case is no longer in the jurisdiction of USCIS. It is already in the NVC and will inform you if the visa is already available. You can ask questions at their website, You need to type your case number for identification.

It did depends on what category u did it with, whether as a citizen or green card holder. Also what country r u in. My uncle is an immigration lawyer and I help him out sometimes submit paperwork for others
