NOVR Action Science Fiction Short Film 1080p HD 

The fight at the farmhouse was insane, I could barely see anything because of all those flashy effects. I still enjoyed it.

Excellent on all aspects. It's amazing how these independent film producers can create this using CGI and to credit, hire good actors. I'm sharing this one!

A couple years ago everybody was making films in the dark so you could see very little now it has gone full circle and my eyes are watering.

I appreciate the focus needed to create this on such a tiny budget. I was involved right to the end.

They killed the damn dog, NOT OK. Other than that the film is FANTASTIC

What exactly did the lasers have against that guys leg. He literally had an entire body to shoot at yet he continuously gets hit in the leg, lmao! 😂😂

I enjoyed this very much. You know what impressed me most? The laser hits. I kid you not. This may well be the first movie I have seen where there are no 'bolts of light' shooting at people but instead just the (oh so much more) realistic burning holes that appear. I applaud you for that brilliant innovation.

It kept seeming like it was not going to be any good but kept being unexpectedly good. Must be the editing, and it hangs together well. Interesting, weird.

I had read comments about this after watching other shorts so I had to check it out, was not disappointed.

I could never make sense of the battle damage. Some shots wipe out the freaks easily and instantly, while at other times it seems like they take repeated hits with no ill effects. Same with the Templars. Why would they close with the freaks if their hand to hand combat accomplishes nothing? It all just struck me as silly instead of engaging.

For part of a movie this is good work. There is too much of the story missing for me to like it, but what is here is well put together.

This is like "Children of Men" with an alien twist, I like it. They should call it "Children of Alien Men" maybe?

I love this film. Great special effects. It felt like I was watching something straight out of a Hollywood Blockbuster. Those aliens were scary. Kinda freaked me out. Awesome movie.

Just saw this. I loved it. Great characters, acting, and effects. And the child's voice, "Aw yeoo broken ?", put a lump in my throught. The face off off and attack of the 'Templars' was aawsuum. "It's just a scratch.." Great dialog.

I especially liked this. Bits were 'over acted' but in reality that's true too. The best was how 'Templars' , 'Danger Guy' and the rest almost felt like different products (directing styles) fused together into a story. Kinda cool.

I forgot I was watching a short clip and had just decided to pause for popcorn when it ended. Fantastic effort, well done.

Just came across this, look with a little bit of twinking with the actor's in this, I could be a really great TV program, without the Hollywood CGI, making it as real as possible,we use to look at TV so it could take us away from reality, and now we spent or time trying to create it through Media, this thing is just pure fantasy well done, brilliant

I like the part where they start shooting trees, and then, apparently, the trees fire back. And then two soldiers are running through a field, hundreds of yards from a building, and a bomb explodes a few feet away. And you see LUMBER flying. This is the future: bombs create lumber. How do we know this wasn't made by the timber industry? (OJ)

The wife had great architecture!!! The only thing missing from this film was exploding heads! Plenty of 'splosions otherwise. Nice violent film!

Good concept. Some rotoscoping could have been used over pulling luma keys. Example: Last shot of ship taking off looking through grid/fence. Rotoscoping grid would've retained the thickness of the grid lines, hence, avoiding "lightwrap" effect revealing itself.

Way too much, lens flares, the smoke is a joke (look at the chimney of the farmhouse...) and the fire... c'mon. BUT: great costumes and the guns look nice, too.

look I'm no expert on Film,and I love watching these short scfi movie's on RU-vid and I've just watched this, I really think that with a little bit of tweaking this could be a good TV series, or a movie release,or an animated series

Very tight .. got it running away .. sometimes we do less than think ....and when we do it's ...whatever .....

You know what almost made this for me? The way in the beginning you showed enough of the aliens to show that they were definitely not human, but not enough to show what they were. In modern warfare, especially in an urban environment where soldiers are trying to move quickly, you wouldn't see combatants walking up to each other out in the open under heavy fire everyone would get behind cover and shoot the crap out of the general area where they suspect enemies to be. Your effects, all the bright lights, were quite impressive, but I am afraid that the practical effects weren't great. I can only assume that this was due to a limited budget and if you had more money, you could have really blown us away. Too much alien face time at the end was a little unconvincing. You have a good excuse not to show the aliens in too much detail and psychologically, this could be used to greater effects. Overall I enjoyed this short film and appreciated the over the top nature I also think that the aliens looked great in partial view, they definitely had a "oh shit, what's that?!" factor. I liked the way the weapons and spacecraft looked.

Excellent short , for the budget .

I enjoyed this but it was a little bit too busy.Gunshots from the start to the finish kind of crowds out the dialogue. Otherwise not bad. :-)

dude left his dog outside... ok automatic fire doesn't work (mostly) against the aliens but swords do? Liked that initial contact at the cabin w/the troops and spaceship esp the shoulder fired/launched missile/shell!
