It's not recycling at the end user that's the issue. It's at the manufacturing stage. The material they use can be ground up, remelted and reused, meaning there's virtually zero waste. HIPS on the other hand (the commonly used plastic) whilst recyclable, has to be mixed with fresh, unrecycled plastic to be viable, meaning there'll always be at least some wastage. It's purely a positive.

I'm seeing them next Monday, so I'll try to remember to ask!

Hello! While we are looking at attending some wargame/hobby events next year, they will unfortunately all be based in the UK. Our apologies. We would love to attend Adepticon but feel flying a few of us across the pond for a few days doesn't quite fit within our environmental ethos (and budget currently). This doesn't, however, mean that these sorts of US-based events are indefinitely off the cards. We are looking into various options for the future, such as getting an ambassador to attend Adepticon (and others) to demo games in our absence. We will post any news regarding this on our social media as and when.
