The Theft and Crime spree in California has crushed many a California dream. The recent Ransacking of gas stations and retailers has shocked ordinary citizens but the attempt to manufacture better statistics at any cost. City attorneys such as the one in Sacramento are taking on the offensive against retailers who Report Theft. Target was told the need to stop reporting thefts and other crimes or be charged with being a public nuisance. the city of Sacramento only reported 80 thefts last year while one target called to report 387 incidents of theft alone. The startling volume of retailers besides target certainly experienced retail theft yet the Cities total is a fraction of the individual instances Target sought help from the police for. Now the store is under threat of being charged and pursued by the Cities attorney so the criminals can freely pursue their crime unopposed and unreported.

Frank, let's try to examine this very logically, and I have experience with this as I was a retail manager for 20 plus years. So let me just say that for pretty much close to 20 years I mean we're talking from basically the early to mid 2000 through pretty much the 2020 to 2021 range, It was the policy of most retailers particularly your big box retailers but also your national brands like CVS pharmacy it was their policy oh and by the way even places like family Dollar it was their policy to not call the police company policy said that you do not call the police for shoplifting. Some companies would leave it up to your discretion but overall they would make it clear that they don't particularly care for you to spend time dealing with the police over shoplifting went shoplifters have already left unless they are literally stupid enough to hang out. Situation where the taxes the cost of doing business in the state of California is extremely high that's the real reason these companies are pulling out because I can tell you that theft rates and joints like that have always been across the board theft rates of today in terms of shoplifting with a few exceptional spikes here and there are roughly the same as they were 7 to 8 years ago. Not as a former business owner and also as someone who has worked in corporate retail and management yes I'm more than aware that stuff the statute I am certainly not trying to say that it does not have effect on the businesses because I realize it does it's common knowledge throughout retail. However I can also say that corporations tend to use things that make sense to fly under when they close locations basically they tend to take something of a grain of logic and spin it into their excuses to why they're shutting down when in reality the entire industry is contracting. Basically it boils down to an income to fish see across the population yes you have a high rate of theft but you also have a situation where you no longer have the high volume of customers spending decent levels of money instead your customer base has dropped off to practically nothing and yet you still have sex so in that respect that's why and how they're basically getting away with saying that stuff is the reason they're closing these locations because that's all anybody sees they don't want to get on TV and tell you all about how it's an income deficiency across the population because they're political pals that hook them up with tax breaks would be pissed off. Basically they're flying under theft and trying to blame stuff for the root of all of their problems the reality is simply most of these companies made a series of shit decision 16 years to 20 years ago and they're living with the consequences. The root cause of most of these companies is simply dead they've taken on mass amounts of dead and their customer base has dropped off because they're again there's an income deficiency across the population so the would be customers are no longer would be customers they can no longer pay the company's bills because they can barely afford to pay their own. There is a precedent for this, Remember last decade when they ran around and tried to blame the internet for all of their problems and their General demise across the industry? Well that excuse I myself saw through it in 1.0 seconds and that was simply because I was more than aware that the majority of retailers in existence are the internet they have been the internet for like 25 years they've all had a website with a capability of selling directly to you and or you could go to the store and pick it up like you do today nothing's fucking changed. So it was only a matter of time before that logic would filter down to most people even though when I talked about that throughout numerous comment sections I would get a lot of resistance on it but overall time passes people see it and that excuse no longer flies. They had to come up with another excuse well yeah that's levels have been running rather high but those stuff levels have been running that high for the better half of a decade it's not new it's simply that most companies didn't authorize for the calling of the police and the thieves knew it. It used to be that the companies didn't particularly give a shit because they knew that they could sell to the public triple what was being sold they could more than make it up and thus the right off they would get for the stolen shit plus any insurance claimed with more than balance it out but as sales have dropped off simply because the public is in dire financial straits they can no longer balance it out that's the only reason they're concerned. In other words basically the companies themselves have facilitated the environment for theft and now they're whining and crying and they would have been tough on it even when sales were great and they would have instructed managers to call the cops on all theft no matter how Petty then we probably wouldn't be sitting at these levels. Of course there is another underlying reason why the corporations decided not to call the police. That reason is for the very reason that this particular Police department is trying to go after the business it's simply because the police cannot be bothered with shoplifting it is not a high priority for them they basically deemed it a low priority 18 years ago if not 20. So the industry basically sat there and absorbed all of this and basically made it a policy to not call the police because it was seen as bothering the police. So this is basically what's really going and I can tell you that as an industry insider I would be more than happy to do a video with you if you would like to figure out who I am which of course I'm no one famous. But I can certainly tell you that most things you're hearing throughout the news media about what's going on in retail I can assure you is 100% bullshit there might be tiny grains of Truth somewhere in there but it's just enough to get you to swallow their bullshit in reality everything they say everything the turds in the suits in the retail industry say is largely garbage they're trying to get you to swallow a certain narrative. Some of the reason why they want to project a certain narrative on the public is well they and of course their political pals but any given local government where they might have a location they don't want to induce basically they just say oh well it's a bunch of food alums and that's what's going on and so we're working on trying to fix this and by closing certain locations that's greatly going to help blah blah blah it's a way to explain it away. And yeah I do always say that this goes back to the politicians and the reason being is because these corporations depend on senators from all over the place to get the best tax packages possible and this happens in every state every county every city and I'll sit here and now anyone who thinks otherwise has rocks in their head. So when the politicians don't want to talk about the bad economic situation and a lot of cause then these executives are certainly not going to talk about that.

So basically if your in business in California time to close up, and when the food and retail ghettos show up and their is no where to buy basics for large areas of the state people can simply Vote differently. Actions have consequences and the easiest way to make a statement would be for every grocery store in a large city to close all at once. Create food desserts and watch people finally demanding accountability and change.

So - it's illegal to close down your shop - without giving 6 months notice, now it's illegal to report a crime to the police, despite the fact that the police won't respond because the courts won't convict. Maybe it would be simpler to just open all the prisons and abolish the crime of theft altogether...
