Did you know that Drew Carey has secrets abou Price is Right? Find out what they are here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-BpP9rZqxDu4.html
What a tough question, but my answer to "My Favourite Memory of Bob Barker" is Bob not getting the Big Wheel around at least once at the disposal of a lady contestant, but there are too many memories of the game show emcee, star and TV legend. Even Bob uttering the words "Come On Down" on a few select occasions. His love for animals was so genuine too.🙂
It's simply hard to pick out just one favorite memory I have of Bob Barker, because basically, I was hooked on him and TPIR from the time when I was a toddler. It was about that time when I noticed a significant change--the appearance of the old turntable, when they removed the stucco background from the 70s, and replaced it with the padded background, which would last for nearly 20 years. Everything pretty much remained the same, which is one thing that us Loyal Friends and True (as Bob called his fans) came to know and love. 😂
My favorite memory of Bob Barker went when he started giving away prizes do people really needed the prizes including his first contestant Connie who gots the actual price of the car and got it. At Bob Barker made people like me don't really at home just because I watch the show myself from Monday September 4th 1972 all the way to Friday June 15th night 2007 that he made everybody including myself feel right at home feel more comfortable and more welcome to watch the show it gave me a chance to get to know the contestants, especially Bob Barker's last contestant Denise who won a couple of cars a trip and a few other things. And that was the highlight of it all! Now that it has been so long that Bob Barker pass away this will make the Price is Right even stronger and more better than what it was when he was doing the show. Another the price is right's doing more shows at night now? That will make people like me watch The Price is Right more because of Drew Carey and why he is actually taking the show to new heights, although on a nighttime version of The Price is Right he has giving away $1 three times but never during the day. But that will one day possibly change when somebody gets enough nerve to win $1000000 on a daytime version of that show. Because that would make the Price is Right much enjoyable and I think it would have everybody talking!
Favorite memory of Bob on TPIR was his reaction when Janice made her famous inspirational putt-it left Bob on his knees in utter bewilderment rolling the golf ball-too funny!!
Drew Carey MUST have had a lot of fun with people on the crazy show. Carey has always been a pleasant character in everything he has been in. If Drew went through any problems, he handled it like a champ. His job on who's line is it anyway was some of the funniest comedy (lots about him), which he handled like a champ. The two Colins tried to make him roll laughing, as he did hearing their hilarious , nutty digs at him. He looked like he couldn't have loved what he was doing in any way more than hearing every dig, and handled it with grace, and humour, always adding a joke if his own, to prove that he was a great sport. All in the name of comedy. Drew is a great performer, and never skipped a step. Smoothest delivery of any comedian. Blue collar comedy tour really made him among some of the best humour available. The size of a deck. That's the best play on words ever uttered.
Bob Barker, at one time, banned WWF/WWE wrestler Rikishi from ever being on The Price Is Right because according to him, "Bob thinks I'm too Samoan to be on his show". It is unclear if Drew Carey will lift the ban imposed by Bob Barker.
I don't give a rat's behind what anyone thinks of Drew Carey as the TPIR host. No, he isn't perfect, but he isn't terrible. He is a likable man. He is funny (just like Wayne Brady & Steve Harvey) and doesn't treat the show like a big headed a**hole. Love me some Drew Carey/George Gray TPIR. Oh and by the way, anyone who doesn't think Drew Carey is funny (like the old producer Roger Dopey Wimp), BITE ME. Johnny Carson thought he was funny.
Did the windmill on Hole In One(or Two)stay long? I remembered seeing when Bert Convy came on stage kissing a model and promoting Tattletales in 1974 and 1982.
Was born in the mid 80's and grew up with this show and loved it but since drew took over I haven't watched it since, they either should have retired the show or find someone else i think drew Carey was a wrong choice
@FactsVerse i think the one that has always stuck with me is that race game where the contestant tells Bob he doesn't really need any of the offered prizes and u can genuinely tell that Bob is offended as he wrestles the price tags away
I have always loved watching THE PRICE IS RIGHT hosted by the one and only Bob Barker. I have never liked and I totally despise drew carey. When drew took over I quit watching. RIP our precious BOB BARKER
Drew Carey is not worthy of being the host. Barker was engaging and wonderful. Carey is simply awful, no chemistry with the contestants, lazy and boring..
