now i'm alone 

this one is about a year old at this point but it's one of my favorites i've written. also, been trying to learn how to sing with my chest voice a little more since recording firearm so go easy on me lol i know this one sounds a little different but i like the tone my voice has.

i remember the first time i moved away from all my friends
i was way too young to know i'd never see them ever again

it became sort of a trend
i'd float from school to school what felt like almost every other year
finding people i belonged with, trying my best to keep them near

i met them years ago because i played so many video games
and ever since we've kept in touch but i'm so far it don't feel the same
i feel terrible i'd like to talk more often
but got nothin to say
i think that after all those years of having friends around to see
only knowing them online creates a disconnect for me
if only i had stayed in touch with kids i knew in town
i'd have people around
