Thank you for the link, but I already have your videos (and love them). I'm looking for the WRITTEN versions (both sc and DC) that I can copy and print out. If you don't, I'll send them both to you when I finish!
I have been crocheting for 65 years and still watch as many videos and tutorials as possible. I crochet every day. I almost treat myself like a newbie who is always open to learning new stitches and techniques of crochet and seem to learn something new every day. The step up joins still frustrates me after all this time and this is a real find for me. Thank you.
Personally, I’m a visual learner, so watching and listening to the music is perfect for me…different strokes for different folks and can’t please everyone😊
What she does: The first round she chains 2 at the start before double crocheting, just like you usually would do with 3 chains. When she goes to join in the 2nd round, she does not slip stitch into the top of the 2 chains, she skips those chains, and she slip stitches into the first double crochet. Then, the rounds after that, she starts each round with a single crochet and then a chain after the single crochet, before beginning regular double crochets. When she goes to join in the 3rd round, she skips the single crochet and the chain, and slip stitches into the firsy double crochet.
Bravissima.👏👏👏😍
Thank you for the tip and for making a video plain and simple - without so much blah-blah.🙉! so many years without knowing how to do a circle without that annoying line. Thank you 😁
This is brilliant!!! I love this. So smooth and beautiful. I have always disliked the join lines. Thank you so so much from a seasoned crocheter for many decades.
I really like your videos. I especially appreciate it when u put yarn content and needle size on the screen for me... I know it seems so simple but I don't know those things
Thank you very much !!! This wonderful instruction will take the looks of my crochet items up to a much higher level !!! So happy !!! Lol I was just starting a crochet shopping bag with a round bottom and really didn't love the looks of the chain 3 at the beginning of the row and the slanted line it made !!! Needless to say I frogged it all and started it over this way !!! This will work for all projects !!! PERFECT Timing !!! : ) Also love the finishing no lump or bump go in from the back and then through the back loop only, Brilliant !!!!!
Excellent video, very easy to follow. I have struggled with my rounds looking neat and this really helped me. Thank you for using a yarn that is easy to see!
AMAZING! simple trick with such an impact on how it looks! thank you for this video. I make coasters all the time and always hated how the seam looked. I will be using this technique from here on x
Cool. That's actually how I started doing my invisible joins a couple months ago. I figured it out in my own but, I never thought about incorporating the manuever into a project with rounds. Awesome. Thanks for sharing.
As a seasoned crocheter I'm always happy to see new & or better ways to stitch ! Thank you I've always used a magic ring but do not care for it, so now while making many many mandala blankets in the round for Christmas (I've had orders since Feb lol) I'll be using your style for those as well as coasters, stuffed animals & blanket appliques so thank you again ! I'm loving the music, it makes it easier to follow you w/o constant chatter like other videos lol
Oh thank you so much, for showing us all the most easier way to get through the magic circle. I was always stuffed it up. I like your method, so much better. Thank you for sharing ❤
