means rune er, the gameplay is about collecting anchient runes that erupt from a fountain made of darkness. There are 7 ruins that you must collect, each one of them being their own chapter. When you get all of the ruins, you can summon the only human SOUL left in existance, you get 2 choices. 1) seal the fountain, destroying the soul in the process. This unlocks a final bossfight with the SOUL itself, making a final stand to prevent itself from destruction by possesing the bodies of all the bosses that you spared. You must use mercy on them in order to free them. (kinda like Asriel and the Lost Souls.) This leads to a final phase with the original vessel created at the begining of the game (the intro is still the same). Also, for every major character you didn't spare, the final phase gets signifigantly harder. (20% more HP + ATK per major character) 2) embrace the darkness, causing the SOUL to grow. You must defeat all of the major characters that you fought, as a final test to see if you are worthy to be the leader of this world. The major characters you spared will rule alongside you, as like dukes and stuff. You can also unlock a secret ending: There would be FUN values in this game. When the FUN value is set to 66 and you do ending 2, the dark fountain will absorb the soul, and then absorb you. When this happens, you get taken to a dark room. After 5 minutes of waiting, the game closes. When you reopen the game, an error message will pop up, saying "ERROR 17. DARK DARKER, YET INTERESTING. VERY, VERY, WONDERFUL." This change will occour until 24 hours have passed, and at that point the game will work properly again, but that save file will be unable to be deleted or opened. If you corrupt all 3 of your files, the error message will be permanant.

you got a point, because theoretically removing the beats 1 and 2 would result in only half of the song being played, and removing the beats 3 and 4 would also result in only half of the song being played, thus concluding that adding these songs together would be the whole song, it’s a 0.5 + 0.5 situation if you really think about it.
