THEM BRO came up with the Chicago new gen. (Chance, Noname, Vic Mensa, Smino, etc.) That's some of the best MUSIC & RAPPING in the last 10 years. Be very careful
Saba is one of my favorite artists. His album CARE FOR ME is one of my favorite rap albums of all time. You should check out one of his songs either LIFE or PROM/KING
Saba is a young spitter from Chicago with a couple dope projects and affiliations with a crew of other young dope spitters (Smino, Noname, Mick Jenkins, Red Veil, and others). This is the new hip hop that HAS to take over! Check out Bucket List Project, then Care for Me albums by Saba.
I agree. I feel like with Mick though, to get the full scope of everything he is putting out currently, you have to start from the very beginning of his career and listen through Trees and Truth, his mixtapes, The Waters, etc...
His penmanship will literally have you debating the best of all time. He’s literally my number 1 rapper and I understand the numbers of the “big 3” but he’s literally unmatched
If you're gonna study Mick, you goota bring a whole ahh journal my g. I been on the water since 2016. Content. It's deep. Saba is real af too. They are 2 of my faves to turn up. If you from the South or understand that culture, A Few Good Things is a perfect album. PERFECT. No flaws in that album at all.
Ayo if you are familiar with southern black vibes, Saba's last album is golddddd. Man it's so good. It's wild. A Few Good Things. Saba is that dude though. Always got him and Mick on rotation.
All these guys nice. Saba discography is ight but Mick Jenkins albums are nice! Both are from Chicago I believe, their style so much different then that drill garbage in that city. IDk cool too he really went off this go
These guys really represent every angle of what the Chicago hip-hop scene has to offer. Don't get it twisted, I love Keef, Herb, and Dirk, but since Chance fell off these cats have been the ones carrying the city on their backs. They all killed this too.
