In this video we look at how to remove the top part of the Nissan Navara Np300 wing mirror. The plastic cap is often chrome and it is possible to unclip them from the mirror to change them.
You guys just made my DAY!!!! I’ve been fiddling with my wife’s mirror trying to get that damn cover off for two days and now I see that I was just not giving it enough muscle. Thanks!!!!
DON'T BE BRAVE, The clips you can't get at this way will break off when you pull. Push mirror housing forward, small screw underneath housing, remove it, then remove 3 screws around mounting plate ,this will allow the back half of mirror housing to swing away from mechanism, then you have full access to all the clips holding the back cover in place.
