Artists, like me, have long loved Golden's Quinacridone Nickel Azo Gold. So you can imagine that people were dismayed when, earlier this year, Golden announced that the pigments to make Quinacridone Nickel Azo Gold were no longer available. Eeep! Luckily, there's a (kind of) solution, and I'm sharing it with you today! I think the mixed version of the color is pretty close to the mark and it has many of the same qualities as the original paint color. Be sure to pin or save the formula, so that you have it the next time you need it!
This formula should work for all weights of Golden paints. I think it will also work for their QoR watercolors.
