Tutorial video on the steps to upgrade the E series nozzle from the old flat bottom style. I would love to say this went fast and smooth but it didn't for me. I didn't mention it in the end, but don't forget to do a slow burn to cure the ceramics after installing (roughly 3+ hours, fan on, small load).

Thanks for sharing. My 7400e stove has this upgraded nozzle, we are on our second season and having trouble with the "breathing" of the stove. I have cleaned everything, panles, ash, secondsry, tubes, pipes, etc. The panels are hard to remove, specially the back ones. I use a 8 ft 2x4 as plank to break the creosote. Some plates are warped so we will be changing them soon.

I am struggling really bad myself. I am struggling to keep it breathing behind the nozzle into the secondary passage. It easily gets plugged up with just ash. Also, the back of the back panels get clogged with creosote. It's very frustrating. I guess the wood just needs to be even lower moisture. My wood is split a year in advance and it's frustrating that it is not good enough. Plus, the way the nozzle is raised, too many coals get trapped on the sides and it's hard to keep clean as I expected. Next I'm going to get one of those weed propane burners and use that to try and clean out the air inlet as one user recommended. Not sure what else to do.
