Little did we know, this was the incident that caused the game to crash, the save game damaged beyond repair, so the player deletes the game out of frustration... ...unshackling all previous save games from the chains and structure they needed. "what if i do this differently?" click save "oh that didnt work...no that didnt work..ah, this reload worked, now to carry on" and the save that was left , cluttering a list of other saves, only to be left adrift once the latest save was corrupted from a memory leak, perhaps they are better for it, they were spared the mods that were downloaded to later make the game 'more fun', to alter the world beyond recognition. Perhaps they are the betters, merely adrift in a stagnating world, rather than struggling to remain coherent, remain sane, in a world destined to drift , destined to fragment and corrupt as it spirals into nothingness but missing textures, broken models, and incompatibility with itself.
