I genuinely wish cod would revisit futuristic combat. So much potential

Just finished beating this on veteran difficulty yesterday. And i actually enjoyed the campaign.

I like how at 6:40 the AI was waiting for the enemy to reload and once he did they took their chance and shot the enemy

COD has always had very good AI, at least in the campaigns.

Infinite warfare had such a good cast of characters and dynamics between them. I loved it.

for some reason why 99% of the NPC's will take cover on open areas or a exposed position on 0:16

I'm a sucker for sci-fi, so this is one of my favourite CODs. I wish it had more worldbuilding, though.

The first mission is also good for a video.

I hated this game when it came out. But now in retrospective i think this might have been the best CoD released for the whole PS4/XboxOne gen of consoles. It had the most ambitious campaign at least. And really good Zombies mode. It's just at the time it was released everyone was tired of the sci-fi jet pack CoD's. After AW, and BO3 everyone was tired of that style of game and wanted a more classic CoD like MW2. I think that's why it got so much hate.

Speaking about Multiplayer: Infinity Ward really went all out with the AI bots for both COD Ghosts and Infinite Warfare. Not only the AI is smart and use streaks, they also use "Pay to Win" weapons. And best part? Bots supported across Every Single GameMode! Sadly, they made a downgraded version of them in both MW2019 and MW II. I didn't play MW II myself but in MW2019 the AI NEVER use a streak, not supported in all gamemodes (I wanted to ply Ground War with AI SO MUCH!), and are limited to 6v6 ONLY! They REAAALLLLY wanted to push everyone to play online which I am not good at. Bots are the only way for me to enjoy MP as much I enjoy the campaigns. Good thing I found out about a bug that allows me to play 10v10 with AI on PS4. Oh yearh, think you can do a match with AI in older CODs for PC using mods? Like MW2 and 3. Or even better, COD4 and WAW allows for 16v16!

WOW how fantastic I am a "fan" of the ARMA series. (Arma 2, Arma 3, take on helicopters, Iron Front and others) just for one reason: THE MISSIONS EDITOR. Query: do you use and/or is there something similar for GTA4 GTA5 and other games? like BATTLEFROM 2005 for example

Now I kinda want to see one with their weapons suppressed in the mission "Operation Taken Dagger" and/or "Operation Burn Water" Tracers and muzzle flashes won't be visible because of the suppressors, making it cleaner, and it tends to make it more interesting seeing the combat, for me anyway

I wonder if the settings are intentional. Ala, you're playing as the UNSA, so their AI NPCS can't be as good as the Martian/enemy AI otherwise they wouldn't need you (the player). Otherwise you could simply turtle in missions that have friendly AI NPCs and just let them win.

It’s a shame the world-building and lore of infinite warfare is so lackluster and half baked. The aesthetic of the world is really cool looking, like a more militaristic version of what Bethesda is doing with nasapunk in Starfield.
