Both sides were honestly impressive. The CIS won most unsurprisingly but the DT almost always put up a heck of a fight.

And then to imagine that Droideka's are slower and have a slower firerate than they canonically have

They should make an game like this, Imagine all faction strategy based Ai combat where you could play in large arenas like this

Surprised the Magna Guards lost seeing as those things take on (or used to) Jedi and actually give them a fair enough bit of trouble. Commando Droid fights were cinematic and awesome.

Imagine if the AI were actually made to perform like real AI, and not just a hit - jump around - block - do animation. We would have had so many fuckin cool battles.

In general, I was thinking here, and if B1 had also used suicide tactics in films, then many films would have ended very quickly.

I like how even though they are old and obsolete the separatist battle droids who are made for war can take on and beat a security droid who is like riot police.

How I love the separatists! If it wasn't for Palpatine, they wouldn't have given the republic a chance. To see how the B1 squad beat this Republican droid was great. But most likely their cost is two or even three times less than the cost of one such droid. This shows why they were so strong. In movies, they like to laugh at them, but just imagine the rows of B1 marching at you endlessly stretching into the distance in support with B2 and BX. And they all think and act synchronously and harmoniously. Let them be very inaccurate in shooting, but when there are hundreds or even thousands of them, then accuracy does not matter. It's literally a wall of fire rushing at you. In one of the series, we were shown that they can easily crush even a Jedi with a number when he does not have a story armor. And these are not all their advantages. They don't eat, they don't sleep, they don't rebel, they always follow orders, you can't bribe or seduce them, they are literally steel wars! And even more so, if, for example, a lot of droids were destroyed in a big battle, then you can collect what's left of them, and at least a third of them will be repaired. And now remember the clone army. Yes, the clone is better in everything than the B1 droid, yes, he is quite capable, with a certain skill and luck, to win one-on-one B2 and even in some situations to compete with BX. But there were about 10-20 droids per clone at the beginning of the war (I don't remember the exact number). But remember also that clones need to be fed, they need oxygen, they need to rest and sleep, they need a long time for training and expensive weapons and equipment. The problem with stuff like this is that the AI isn’t designed for multi-target engagements. The DT just keeps agro-ing to the closest target or the last one to deal significant damage.

The person who programed commando droids in this game needs a raise they show teamwork???

I swear, when I saw DTs in the mandalorian, I literally believed these guys are the The Empires B2 super battle droids from how they died to Luke in the same way, a commando droid would put more of a fight than those guys

The CIS built Battle Droids to take on the highly skilled and trained Clone Army. The DT only has to put down a small handful of Rebals.

Strange how all this time we never got a game where we are a discontinued Battledroid after the clones wars trying to make our way in the world. I would love to play as. Commando droid that survived the shutdown searching for a purpose since the CIS command is gone. Could be a mix of stealth, fast pace shooting, and souls like.

D2 once again shows the empire's mindset and goals of controlling via fear. The thing is a hulking mass of metal but is simplier in terms of programing and range of action than the cheaper mass produced B1 Battle Droids. Just like the AT-ATs there not realistically viable walkers but their whole utility is just to be big, intimidating and heavily armored to the point small to medium arms are useless against them.

Cool video! Also, I'm only really surprised that a group of basic B1s managed to take down a DT Sentry droid, even if only barely. And that the Magnaguards got clapped relatively easily. 🤣😅 To be fair, though, I like to think the Magnaguards (and also the BX Commandos, come to think of it 🤔) would've fought more tactically, dodging attacks and using hit and run methods to wear down their tougher opponent.

Gotta say I'm impressed by how the B1s fight as a cohesive unit. I always said and I always will, if their opponents were anyone else but the republic clone army, they would've conquered the galaxy in like 3 months Also the B2 that literally PUNCHED OFF the weapon arm of the DT was an absolute gigachad

it bothers me that most of these droids don't actually sound like robots (B1's are excused because it's their classic voice) magna guards and commando droids don't feel like killing machines, but bad guy #99 put into a robot body judging by their voices
