Totally agree- she also grew up surrounded by very little people, it would make sense for her social skills and queues to be more limited.

Aloy seems disinterested in sexual and/or romantic relationships, sure - but I attribute this to: 1) Not receiving any guidance regarding such issues; 2) Being too burdened by this world-saving business to take any extra time for such issues (for herself, anyway); and 3) Having simply not met HER person yet. (I, personally, ship her with Link.) Also, remember: she’s a clone and might not even be able to reproduce (largely dependent upon Dr. Sobeck’s situation in this regard). If that’s the case, then the point’s moot. Food for thought. 🍔🍺

I disagree. I think Erend sees parts of his sister in Aloy and he just enjoys that.. nothing wrong with that. Teb feels deeply guilty. Aloy saved his life and not just that he wasn't even allowed to thank her but also had to watch how his father treated her.. a little girl that just saved his sons life. He lived with this guilt for more than a decade and most likely even questioned why Aloy is shunned anyway. Seems to be the known punishment for several crimes and for most of them not even for life. Knowing that she was cast out as an infant and no one knows or is allowed to talk about why must have bothered him, maybe made him question the tribe itself and since the Nora are very isolated that will have him somehow isolated also.

I don't know... Erend grew up in a patriarchal system, just lost his sister who didn't just mean a lot to him, but also taught him that women are equal. Him I can "forgive" easy.. he mostly enjoys being around someone who reminds him of Ersa and that the species of strong women and the possibility of change didn't die with Ersa. Teb.. Teb grew up with the Nora.. Aloy saved his live what? 12 years earlier? And he wasn't even allowed to thank her, to me he seems just like a guy who wants Aloy to know that he is deeply great full, most likely still extremely ashamed of how his father treated Aloy, a little girl that just saved his sons life. Since he was one of the first to agree to go to Meridian to fight even though he knew that is not what he can do best... because of Aloy he might have spend the last 12 years questioning the dogmatic obedience the tribe shows to shunned ones even if like in Aloy's case no one ever knew why she was cast out at birth. Nil is just... being Nil, my most beloved sociopath. But Avad.. that one's "flirting" creeps me out.. and it got even worse in Forbidden West :) Only time I felt good choosing the "fest option" ;)

I love her for her determination, her willingness, and she never backs down. That’s why she’s probably the best character (at least to me) the best video game character in history.

I can see her frequenting Vanasha tho. But otherwise I don't ship her with anyone yet. I think Teb is like a brother.

For me its either, Varl and Aloy, Erend and Aloy, Teb and Aloy

I like her with Erend. It’s the only pairing I really like. The others I either dislike (basically all the other men) or am neutral to (the women). I mainly like Erend cause I think she likes him at least a little. The conversation at the end of his main quest made me do a double take I was like “huh? Giiiiirl.”

@@LangkeeLongkee 😂 I like Aloy and Varl too you can see she cares about him a lot but I hope she stays a lone wolf instead of paring up with a guy that is what I liked about her character in the first place no small talk no beating around the bush and she isn't there to play a game she's there for victory and she'd rather die than not achieving it wheter it be days or years till she gets it.

He just kinda annoys me, and that mission with him was annoying and his AI was kinda weird the first time I played so mainly not his fault, but beyond that I find most of the recurring the Nora characters forgettable to me, unfortunately including him. I didn't think about ships throughout the game really I just like Erend, I think he's sweet and like I said I think she likes him. It never really crossed my mind before, I actually didn't like Erend at first (and now he's my favourite NPC 💀) but that final conversation at the end of his quest was TOO cute, I only really started shipping it cause I genuinely think she likes him as well. I don't think she'll settle down or anything? Maybe just like flirtationships? FWB? Not like a proper pair up with anybody but more so unspoken agreements and it's not a problem that sometimes she's MIA for weeks. I hope I'm making sense 💀

I don't know. Either they didn't say or I missed that. But Beta looks young to me. More like 15 or 16, definitely younger than Aloy.. And she needs to find herself first anyway. I am also a fan from "leaving romance arcs to NPCs", if "needed" at all.
