Billy's selection of Selwyn Cobbo turned out to be genius. That's now 5 of the last 7 games has lost an outside back. Queensland became a more balanced side after Reece went off. It allowed them to get Selwyn's size and game-breaking ability on the field and to get Felise Kaufusi on as well. QLD were light in the middle and his 110 kg certainly came in handy. The Aboriginals in any sport just seem to have this little extra athleticism and hand/eye coordination. The scary part for NSW is Old played poorly. From 20-6 up the got too carried away and made 16 unforced errors that continually gifted NSW field position. If they get that right good luck NSW. If they don't get that right, NSW will capitalise in game 2 and put more tries on.

I forget who pointed it out, but Billy being snappy and unhappy is possibly just the surface of it and that he's really pissed that QLD won like that, yeah send off was great and helped us win and should have happened and all that, but Billy wanted to stamp this win out with no questions as to which team was better. Now I'm someone who rarely becomes cocky and arrogant when talking about their team or anything of the sort, but if I were a NSW supporter, I'd be scared. Because if Billy was angry at that performance and that was a dominating win in Sydney........imagine how QLD will play at a neutral venue.......then even better......at home. Honestly, I think NSW may in for a bit of pain for games 2 and 3. I'm not saying that QLD will win the series guarenteed, but I wouldn't bet against them.

One thing about Nicho is that he's got a tackling problem on big games. See from Blues game last year, Kangaroo vs. Kiwis game last year, and yet this year, NSW selectors haven't learned from this, going ahead to pick him.

Hynes has joined a LONG list of NSW 7s who are great club players and can't step up for Origin. Give him another go and please keep Jerome and Tesco and bring in Mitchell the 15 minute man. Where was the NSW captain for 50 minutes?

l've been reading lots of comments where NSW supporters and commentators suggested NSW couldn't win after the 7 minute send off. Why not. Yes it' a tough ask but surely the NSW players and coaching staff didn't throw in the towel. How do you think the Qld side would have reacted to a 7 minute send off, the same way the NSW team reacted, step up and give it 110%. 18 minutes to go and NSW are only behind by 10 and were within an inch of a try to bring the deficit back to 4. Remember a few years ago when Qld were behind with 10 minutes to go and lost a player to the sin bin, Qld put on 2 tries and won. If you're competitive, you're a chance and NSW were always a chance

Wednesday night was over after 7 minutes as a true contest, and as a viewer, I felt disappointed as the heart of the game was ripped out and surely; we all want to see a wonderful contest and even playing field. Dump Luai. Compare the two number 6's. Dearden ran straight and hard and gave snappy service to his outside backs. Also, Dearden is a powerful tackler. Luai farts around and confuses his own team. Laui's grubber for Teddy's try was great. The rest of the 80 minutes he was woeful. His grubber before Lomax's try was pointless. Nicho put the ball up which was the obvious play. Defence. Laui is and under 10 jersey grabber. Keep Nicho; dump Luai.

Please have time to read my honest thoughts on Nicho aloud. His defence is weak and lacks creativity at Origin Level. He belongs to club land. I don't have to be an Origin or NRL winning coach to signal this out before he was picked for Origin. This is common sense. Moses needs to be picked to save this Series. We are the Fans. Wow. Like listening to 10year olds

No fracture. No cut. No blood. Not even a bruise on his chin. So how did he make contact with his head?? At the speed Suallii flew into Walsh if his shoulder made contact with his head there'd be some sort of damage done. Walsh even passed his HIA, if the initial doctor who ruled it a category 1 didn't rule it that then Walsh could have still went back on the field. In opinion it was all shoulder to chest, it was a perfect hit for the situation with Walsh slipping and the whiplash back of Walsh's head made it look all the more dramatic. What else probably didn't help was he may have hit his head when he landed on his back, that may be the thing that KO'd Walsh if he was out.. And I have no doubt in my mind that the trainer's next to him we're telling him to lay down longer then he needed too. They knew what they were doing. All in all Suallii has to miss 4 games for a shot in an Origin game that was too hard for the kid who is the face of the league, and Walsh has to miss 2 games for his club team for laying down too long. Fair enough
