Hi, Tim. I don't think you give yourself enough credit. Your videos are enlightening, entertaining and aesthetically pleasing. I'm here because I believe your content is valuable. Thanks for sharing your interests, ideas and life. I pray God blesses you beyond your wildest dreams.
Hi. I accidentally came across your channel ½ hour ago, and it's one of the best accidents that has ever happened to me. I am almost 56 and for the last 6 years (at least) the clutter in and around my home has impacted tremendously on my mental health. To be honest, I don't know where to begin but after watching one of your episodes, it has already helped put me in the right direction. Thank you
I recommend you watch all the videos on other topics. He talks very honestly about the journey through changing life moments… I find it inspiring my own contemplation.
Tim has been great for me kind of reverse engineering the retirement thing. I am what I call covid retired..... I'm 40, and have health issues. When the shut downs happened in March of 2020 I lost my job along with them. Before that I had an eye on the FIRE community, but felt hopeless to ever get to normal retired age retirement, much less early retirement. Due to some money my Dad left I was able to plan out a year off to keep myself safer. I still got it, twice actually, but it didn't matter that I was in bed for a month the first time because the bills were still paid. I'm still off work, almost 4 years later, and am really looking at life a little differently. Tim is helping me get the retirement mindset figured out, so I can go back to work in a manner that it isn't a slog to just try to survive for the next 20 years. And realizing that what I thought would sustain the kids and I for 1 year will have actually lasted 4 in March with some left to spare is mind boggling. Highly recommend Dana K White if the house is overwhelming, and then I love the lean/5S organizing videos Tim has put out. Mix that with the explanation of organizing styles from Clutterbug and it solves a lot of the overwhelm because you pare down with Dana, take into account your natural tendencies from clutterbug, and make it super functional with the lean methods Tim talks about..... all while realizing that there is more to life than stuff. Highly recommend just starting at the beginning on Tim's videos, and decluttering with Dana to start your journey. You've got this.
Retired people don’t want headaches! Lol I really like it when you tell us about how RU-vid works. There aren’t many channels that go into detail like you do. It would be to their benefit to do so and they are benefiting in your doing so. Keep up the hard work you do in making your channel great! I don’t think it’s possible that everyone leaves your channel, you’ve got a great personality and that helps keep people. I watch a lot of homesteading video’s. I’m not a homesteader and never will be, but I enjoy learning about them. I keep track of which channels get more subscribers and I’ve noticed that the ones with great personalities grow faster. And the opinionated ones don’t do well at all! Keep growing!😊
@@StarrConsulting Well, a lot of people thought this was a live feed. But it wasn’t. It was recorded and set as a premiere. I screencast my phone to my Mac and recorded it with QuickTime while I was recording myself with my camera. Then I just edited them together when I edited the talk.
That was fascinating. I had no idea RU-vid paid so much. It’s all very complicated. I’m one who stays for the duration of every video. Just love listening to your voice, stories, cooking etc. I’ll be with you through all of 2024 and wish you all the best. 😊
Wow!! That September month!!😂 I'm glad you could 'overcome' the surprise and not give yourself a heart attack! Keep those videos coming, I'll keep watching them!👍
Tim, I really enjoy your calm and relaxed manner in your videos. I do like U tube videos that are not long and drawn out. Shorter ones encourage me to listen all the way through. I tend to skip through longer ones. Happy New Year and continued success with your channel.
Congratulations, I think most viewers are happy that the channel they choose to subscribe to is becoming successful and profitable for the creators. We push the thumbs up/down and comment to state our opinions or thought processes. You are doing well though you seem surprised. Again good job.
Good to hear how this all works, Tim & thanks for explaining this clearly. Your open approach is always appreciated & your honest opinions & insights valued. I will certainly be a regular for 2024! Happy New Year to you & your family! 🎉
Happy New Year, Tim & Community!! WOW!!! Waaaay to go!!! It’s great to see your wonderful efforts & content is doing so well!! 💰 💰💰Definitely hanging with you & look forward to your continued success. I also anxiously await the release of your book! Godspeed, Tim!!
Well I guess I’m the anomaly… watch them all, and watch them all the way through. I’m planning on personally watching 1st declutter video several times a week until it hits the milestone. I’m loving ALL the varied content (okay AI and corgis are not my fav) because it inspires me to keep my eyes open in my own life. Thanks for sharing your retired journey with us. 😎
First of all, loved the video image! Congratulations on a successful start. You should be proud and give yourself credit as that is where credit is due. I look forward to viewing more in 2024.
Hello, Tim. This was so interesting and informative. I realize there are many people, youngsters included, that have made hundreds of thousands of dollars on RU-vid. I believe these are content creators that help sell products. I hope you remain true to your mission on being your authentic self. I enjoy watching your videos and I do watch them from start to finish. Looking forward to being a part of your community in 2024. Congratulations on your success.
I am a new subscriber; this is the first video I've watched. I'm looking forward to watching your videos. Visually, they are pleasant (photography background on your part), and your voice is enjoyable (I'm a West Tennessee girl). You seem laid back and not worried about the powers that be.
So great!!! Congratulations on your success! Thank you for sharing this info on how you are paid for what you do. I’m sure there is a ton of work that goes into creating these videos. As a viewer I appreciate the glimpse into the process. I’m retired as well and it’s so very interesting for me to see how other retirees spend their new found freedom! You are doing it right Tim. Thank you 🙏
Thank you so much for explaining RU-vid ads. I watch on my iPad and keep it in arms reach, so that I can skip or mute ALL advertisements. PS - I watch and enjoy all of your content: decluttering, cooking, travels, photography …
I'm so happy for your success and I look forward to a New Year filled with your videos! They are a bright spot in my day with your sense of humor and upbeat way of looking at everyday life. Congratulations Tim!
Love the transparency! We all want to know how people are making money on RU-vid! Thanks! Also, wanted you to know that I made your apple cake for Thanksgiving, and we loved it!
That’s awesome! Enjoying your content as it’s so relatable to our gen at this time. You encouraged me to start the process of scaling down and keeping busy with that if that is all I have to do. Better than sitting on the couch making everyone rich for just entertainment lol. I wish you continued success
I enjoy your videos, and thank you for sharing your retirement! I retired 2 years ago and like seeing how others who are retired spend their free time!
Thank you Tim. You don’t have to show us what you made but you are so transparent and all your videos are a delight. December was a busy and I have videos to catch up on. Thank you for all you share with us.
Wow! This was so interesting and informative! I have wondered how the youtubers were paid and how much. As I look at retirement I find myself thinking about a "side hustle". You give food for thought, thank you.
This was such a wholesome video. I wish you hit more than $20k in 2024. I thoroughly enjoyed your video which had triggered me to watch more of your videos. Well done.
Hi Tim, I really appreciate this video. As a new You Tuber, this really helped me, as well as all the others! Thank you for walking through all of the analytics as Leo as I am trying to understand those: I love all your content and watch them usually a couple of times because they are so content rich as well as calming. Thanks so much for doing these videos. I know it is a lot of effort. Thanks! Katy
Tim, I really enjoyed this video. Thank you. I found you "by accident", and I have subscribed. I am also doing a carnivore diet. I watched your video on the way you cook a chuck roast. I would love to see more of that type of video content. How long have you been doing the carnivore way of eating. What are your favorite meals, usual meals, results, and so on.
Thanks for sharing your RU-vid data with us, because I had no idea how much revenue could be generated by being monetized. Congrats and I wish you continued success on all your channels 😊
I didn't get to watch your video live, but I did watch because I follow you and other channels. I don't skip around much to other channels. You are one 4 channels that I am subscribed to. Your content is very relatable. Thank you for sharing and think it's great that your work earns you a bit of cash.
Congrats on the success! It’s well earned. I watch a lot of BookTube videos and several have mentioned that DEC-FEB are their slow months. It seems counterintuitive to me, but I’ve heard it a lot. One creator I watch regularly takes a vacation and doesn’t post at all in FEB because it’s the month that impacts her income the least. Just thought I’d share so you won’t get discouraged during the US winter months. Decluttering is huge at the first of the year. And, people tend to struggle with sentimental items like photos and heirlooms. You might think about a strategic video on that topic and see how it does. 😊
Love the breakdown and certainly opened my eyes. It’s interesting to hear your life stories and travels. I can also enjoy seeing your photography on the back wall. So much so…I’m the gal that purchased it too. It’s lovely on my wall and it generates much conversation. Must look into more of your photos. Thanks much for the entertainment. Blessings to you. Xoxo
Very interesting information. I hope you don't tweak your style and content too much as I enjoy the varied topics. I think you mentioned before that not as many people watch the travel and excursion videos but I personally enjoy them whereas I'm not very high tech. What a bonus to get financially rewarded for doing what you enjoy. Continued success.
i just retired and came across you channel. You are a no nonsense straight talking creator. its the motivation we need to move forward and enjoy our retirement. thank you
thanks for explaining how RU-vid pays.Very informative, showing the graphics helped us visual learners. I follow Yoga with Adrienne and she has millions of views. Now I understand how the money is flowing. Well done Tim
This is interesting about how this works. I'm happy for you, keep up the interesting topics. Just watched the egg bite one, now I'm buying a little dash machine to fit in my tiny kitchen, and make these delicious bites. Bless you and have a great day.
Tim, you are a natural at filming and sharing these videos with us. Thank you for your content. I look forward to the next video. Please don’t short change yourself. You deserve recompense for your work. All those years of living has left you with an unusual wisdom. Plus you are charming! God bless you.
Hi Tim! Thank you for this informative video about how much you made on RU-vid in 6 months. You're a natural teacher. 😊 I do watch all the way to the end, by the way! Can't imagine leaving part way through!
This is interesting. I've been on YT for almost 2 yrs and not earning, but also not many followers. I need to up my game in figuring out how to get viewers, but I also need to hone in my direction. Encouraging.
What a nice added income this is for you- esp in Sept! Now I see why making RU-vid vids is popular. Thanks for letting us know how much you get paid (so far) . Nice ambiance/ lighting in this video.
Very interesting. You are the only person I have heard that explains the compensation of UTube. Congratulations on your chanels popularity. I will continue to watch.
