If you stretch the rubber as you're cutting, the strands will separate. If you cut the rubber without stretching it, you will need to separate the strands by hand.

parsside Hej! When they are shorter, they create less drag, so they don't slow the bow as much. They also absorb less vibration, so... Finding the balance right for you is ideal.
