An empty Herzog ballast train heads east over Front St. on the Rockville Bridge behind NS Dash 8-40CW 8350 (with some apparent fire damage) and Dash 9-40CW 8994 with 59 hoppers. I literally had no time to prepare for this shot. I was driving down Front Street on the east bank of the Susquehanna towards Harrisburg and saw the tail end of a westbound intermodal on the bridge in the distance, knowing I was going to miss it. Then, not even 3 minutes later I saw this guy coming across as I was driving under the bridge. I was able to pull over, get the camera and jump in the back of my truck bed just in time. Sorry no horn today but plenty of flange squeal to go around!
