NS RAG+ Gravel Bike 1 Year Review 

Your welcome! I think you would be happy with a newer model. I believe they have more flare on the handlebars. I plan to update these handlebars in the near future with some Salsa Cowchippers.

Its a whole new animal! Took my body about a year to adapt to distance gravel riding but it definitely made my other riding better. I didn't get tired riding trail anymore.

@@johnseip Getting tired or better "bored" riding long trail is my first problem, I've always preferred downhill, jumps, pump tracks and so on, but is useless to say that in mountain biking is better to have fuel in your legs, for this reason I'm thinking about this kind of bikes, and last but not least this bike is super cool!

Mine would be the equivalent of the RAG+ 1. Looks like the description of the bike and even some of the photos haven’t changed since 2018. It’s possible there are a few subtle tweaks but but probably pretty much the same bike.

I bought the RAG+2 2021 last week...i am very happy with it. it is comfy, stable, fast and pretty good to maneuver. The weak point on the RAG+2 are the breaks. They could be stronger. All in all a very good bike 😉👍🏼

I also have a little paint chip in that area. When I push on the crank I can flex it to the point it touches the frame. I would say stiffer cranks or a spacer would resolve the issue (mostly cosmetic). The NS has really short chain stay resulting in a wide angle. I do not think it effects the integrity of the frame. My NS Majesty Park had same problem and I had to run extra crank spacers to clear the frame because it also had industry leading short chain stay.

That looks like a warranty issue! No paint chip or anything to suggest the cranks hitting. Mine does NOT have a dent and I have ridden it very aggressively with lateral stress even. Bummer!

I am also 189cm and the stack height on this bike is a little short even on the XL meaning slightly more aggressive posture. I would say Large is probably too small. Sorry :(

@@Martin-rw6ib No, looks like that bike is pretty well sold out. You could always check out Rondo Ruut. Made by guys from NS. Pretty much the same bikes. Rondo probably a little higher end. Octane one also has one which is basically the Rag+ 2.

2017, I think the new ones have a different seat, slightly wider tires, and handlebars with slightly more flare, but essentially the same bike.
