I’m 35 and Staind and specifically this album saved my life. If it wasn’t for break the cycle I wouldn’t be here today. I never got to meet Jon but thank you for being part of of what has helped me in my life.

New Staind album is fire. The drums don't have the same presence and creative touch of the older records.

I saw them play on the roof of a small record store on Long Island between the first two record cycles in promo of Break The Cycle. We met them after and they signed things. My dad was a carpenter and we would listen to K rock religiously while he worked. A lot of these bands at the time became his favorite and he had a pretty rough life so Aaron’s vocals really spoke to him. My pops is still alive and we’ve had a pretty rocky relationship despite a lot of love over the years and I have tried to put aside his short comings. The years as a an single digit child/early he took me to see concerts is some of the happiest of my life and set me on course to be the creative musician and deep lover of life. We saw staind about 4 times in their prime, life changing. Great interview here thank you!

We (Straight Line Stitch) opened up for them a couple times when they toured with Three Days Grace and Hurt and they were incredible live. One of those standout moments in life for me!!!
