Thanks so much for sharing! I'm using redmagic 7s Pro, I cannot handle Samsung's slow charge and why bother with wireless charging?! I looked at the RM 9Pro, very tempting then this Z60 comes up! I like gaming and fast charging, and I didn't care much about the camera, but I have to say sometimes I do miss having a decent camera, this Z60 may be the answer! Fast charge, great camera and gaming performance. The only downside might be the slow security update and software support from Redmagic.

Great review, i have been a Nubia fan for a very long time, i have not bought this one yet, i do have the nubia z50s pro that just came out a few months ago that was right at $600... this phone is a beast though i may have to cop one👍🏾👍🏾
Completely agree on battery. My note 20 ultra I ordered the zero lemon just so I don't have to charge during the day. It's like filling up your car too make it home from work everyday, mate 20x huge screen always finished the day. Bring back removable batteries. Don't need selfie, rather have 1, 35mm equiv high quality sensor, team up with Olympus or Panasonic not leica or Hasselblad, something like the moto z did. Great review hopefully they sell enough that we get more accessory/aftermarket support.

Trust me it's worth the wait. If you don't care about front selfie, although with bright natural outdoor light it's actually pretty decent I found out today. Happy for u such a cool phone that stands out from the rest .
(Best almost detailed review I've seen so far about this phone. You are like the 1st I've seen do this phone right) Since your second video is in "Kids mode" I wasn't able to ask you a question I have but here. (Maybe you can disable that mode so others can comment) My main big question is, does this phone really get warm easily OR overheat easily? Do the recent updates have improved the performance of the 3 cameras (exclude the UDC Selfie, axed by being under display) or at least has it improved the performance of the phone in general? Or... Is this phone really worth it? Should I try to find something else? I'm eyeing it because of the price but I've found many people complaining about it because of screen burn/phantom display (image residue/leftover), battery issues, getting warm or overheat easily, display issues like stripes or weird wide effect in the UDC area, display not registering touches, charging issues like odd slow charge or not recognizing the cable and so on. Yes, all of these complaints I've seen most of them have valid and proper evidence but the other 50% is just pure user rant and maybe they screwed up and want to make it seem like a company/factory defective problem. I've been asking this any and every person that reviewed this phone and I think my comment gets ignored simply because there must be others commenting too or they just go silent on purpose. But yeah, no answer so I think you are my last resort. I think I may have some other doubts/questions that I'm possibly forgetting but those are my most important questions about this phone before considering buying it. Hey so I haven't noticed the phone getting warmer then others. Nothing to be concerned about although I don't game on my phone. Yes the latest update has definitely helped his the udc and improved the cameras. Phone is amazing. Selling my s24u. Absolutely get it. For the price can't be beat. Even if it cost 1k if still pick it thanks for watching.

Wonda have a Chinese version flashed with global software they advise Google pay works and OTA also which is great but they can't tell me if Android auto works ... Anyone got China version flashed with global ? Does AA work ?
I'll probably get that to, but these are two completely different devices. So far OnePlus open suppressed z fold imo. Looks like Samsung is going with same design which very disappointing.
Look at the spec sheets the camera on S24 ultra is the same camera hardware just lika the last S23 ultra accept the minor change on periscope camera, those image improvement mainly because of the software and SD 8Gen 3 isp, this is why I don't look back to use Samsung anymore now I'm using the Oppo Find X7 Ultra it was a beast of camera.
Sounds like you had a similar journey through the S24, Vivo X100, Find x7 Ultra, etc and settled on the Z60 Ultra the same as me. I agree with your headphone jack observation. Did you know you can do reverse charging using a USB cable? Small critiques; Leave out the rape references. Don't include popular misinformation about it being bad to sleep next to phones because it has not been scientifically proven. (all they proved is that using a phone before bedtime makes it hard to sleep because of the bright light of the phone screen). Other than that I found the tour of the phone settings interesting, especially because people shopping for a new phone are less likely to have seen the settings in newer phones.
Plenty of evidence to support blue light emmited from these phones in general is not good for health especially before night. It messes with your circadian rhythm amongst other things.
@@TechWatch-xp4usagreed, blue light tells the brain it's time to wake up and orange light tells brain it's time to go to sleep. This is why the night mode on a phone tints the color towards Orange. I was talking about the electromagnetic radiation conspiracy about sleeping next to a phone, as opposed to using it just before bed which has been shown to make it hard to fall asleep due to the blue light exposure. I thought you were talking about the electromagnetic conspiracy.

S24 have promised updates up to Android 21 this has promised nothing (you said Nubia promise 2 updates which is lie, in classic Nubia fashion, they promise support up to 3 years which mean nothing. They can support it for year or for 1 month, that's the reason they say "up to". Let's say they will support it for 3 years... No one ever said it's going to receive "Feature updates" (Global nubia models receive one Android update at most.). Global Rom seems to lack all unique features of this phone. ZTE gallery is missing on this phone so many camera features are missing (slow-motion was missing for a long time and many global nubia phones lack it to this day). This phone gets updated less often than Chinese counterpart, also has shorter support period. (its funny dealing with bug 4 months after the same bug was fixed on Chinese version) It also has worse front facing cam compared to Chinese version (speakers are worse too allegedly). +both versions can't switch cameras during recording and only main camera is visible for third party apps. (camera2 api for main cam only) Bootloader can't be unlocked despite bad after-sale support (i hate em for doing this!). It's nice it has OIS for all cam sensors, but the footage comes out choppy (panning footage stutter a lot). It's interesting phone for its price but it has many drawbacks and comparing it to full flagship is misleading. This video being user review makes it biased imo, cause you most likely subconsciously defending your purchase while reviewing. (you also seems like you watched video reviews of this phone which was reviews of Chinese version i think... probably reuploaded to YT from bilibili, that's the reason you compare it to vivo x100 NONE-pro btw, which takes substantially better photos) Flagships may be overpriced but it's not a reason why this phone is cheaper. It's cheaper because its worse phone with compromises (not bad for its price tho) Thanks for video... no one covering this phone for some reason (hope gsmarena do a proper review).
U sound like u hate Nubia. Okay 3 years of updates. Sense I've gotten it its been getting updates periodically. No unlocked boot loader is a shame but I can live without it. Don't really care about being able to switch lens while recording. 7 years of updates. I don't know anyone who keeps a phone for 7 leat alone 5. So this phone has an IR blaster which is very handy, cant kill the battery life and watching content on it with no ugly hole in the top of screen is amazing. Its Smooth and fast. Every Samsung phone I've owned slows down and starts to lag. 1300 for spen , ai and 7 years of updates is ridiculous considering they cost about $100 to manufacture if that. What you get is an 80w fast charger in box, amazing screen and battery life with phenomenal cameras and IR blaster with stock like android with extra useful features for $650. This phone is a flagship priced very well. Like it more then my s23U and 24U. Very minimal upgrades again. Have a good day. Thanks for stopping by.
@@TechWatch-xp4us Its not that i hate Nubia. I just don't like the current sentiment. People straight up lies about current gen nubia phones (z60 ultra, redmagic 9). After we consider how nubia handled global version z50 ultra and previous redmagic phones we can't compare it to established flagships (like s24/oneplus 12/ vivo x100 (pro) etc.). BTW you calling it stock like os expirience is not true also, i think. Because nubia use own background proces managment which is more aggressive. (the only thing from stock android is the look of OS ui and lack of features) I dont say it's a bad phone, ppl just need to be aware of compromises when buying it. (Which is less likely when ppl misleadingly compare it to s24 without previous experience with nubia phones or any knowledge how they handle global variants.)
I legit don't care if it gets 0 software updates, genuinely. Its such a marketing gimmick. If a hacker wants your info, they will get it the second you connect to a free wifi, regardless of your phone's security - if you don't know how to protect yourself, these security patches are irrelevant. If you do know how to protect yourself - they are also irrelevant. On the other hand, you can sideload any software you'd like. You can just install the newest android yourself, even if ZTE don't automatically do that for you. The hardware of the phone is still there. These "software updates" are not detrimental in any way shape or form. They don't enable new features on your phone in most cases, they don't make your phone faster, they dont do anything - they are just security patches. I think you shouldn't care either.

@@mkriz2140 Alright, I did not know that the bootloader is locked and ZTE do not allow it to be unlocked, but regardless. The experience might not be 10/10 using the software, and this is certainly a downside, but how big is it? At the end of the day, I can say that it is something that most people can live with. Occasional hiccups are a small price to pay for flagship hardware and otherwise flagship performance. If I was looking to buy an S24 Ultra, to me, the price difference itself would be more than enough motivation to overlook the software issues, as the Nubia is half the price and the experience is in some cases much better (Like battery life, viewing experience) and in other cases worse (Like the software experience, cameras perhaps). It makes sense only if you have money to throw away, otherwise, with the money savings you can buy a multitude of other things that can compensate for the downfalls of the software - for example, you can upgrade directly to the next model next year, just with the savings. People are putting way too much emphasis on the OS. Its not like having a budget chip, a bad display, a 2 hour battery, plastic casic, unusable cameras and etc. Its something like having a headphone jack or not. Its a downside, but its not something that is a dealbreaker.
3 years of security updates (possibly some software fixes like phone or camera performance slammed in there from time to time) and POSSIBLY up to 2 OS upgrades or maybe just 1. Motorola does this too. I wouldn't mind it if it's only 1 OS upgrade.
