The guy needs someone with actual marketing experience to come onboard as a cofounder. Because this ad is abysmal at selling a dream from the terrible music to the pointless demonstrations and the rubbish voice over. The name of it is also apprentice task level branding when they had to put something or they would not have a name printed on the product for the demonstration the next morning. People sometimes underestimate how important good marketing is especially when they are introducing something they hope to distrupt people's expectations.
One Important question. Many cyclists like to climb hills. This bike looks like it is a ONE gear bike. And your entire video shows that the bike is ridden on flat roads. Can you show us whether the bike can climb? If it cannot climb steep hills, I bet you that it will not get very popular with cyclists.
Unless a Pro Cyclist has tested this bike and given his thumbs up, i would be remain skeptical. One more thing, can it perform as well as a standard Road Bike??
To be honest. I like the concept. You have my attention. I would like to see how it handles in the real world.....hills, ascent and descent.... Off road trails etc. Let some professional cyclists take it for a long ride and hear what they have to say. I think by showing that people will start to notice.
There's absolutely NO WAY someone's going to safely send jumps on a mountain bike with this, considering a rider stands on the pedals and doesn't sit on the seat.
Would be interesting to see how a professional rider thinks after taking it out for a long test. Or compare learning curve of this compare to a regular bike for a child.
Just. Seems. Awkward. Maybe Im wrong. Maybe in a couple years this will be the bicycle version of the "opti-grab" eyeglass frames Steve Martins character invented in the movie "The Jerk". (That movie had sooo many hilarious bits. "Get away from the cans!". Cat juggling. "Keep the snails off the plate".
Like the idea, but the peddles have be height adjustable with the ability to change angles when you are leaning froward making yourself more aerodymanic.
