NUBRA VALLEY - Nature's Magic On Earth
Nubra is home to jaw dropping landscapes, postcard-villages, and it was one of the key places that lay along the ancient silk route. This remote valley in Ladakhey is around 120 Kms from Leh and the drive takes at least 5 hours. One of the exciting parts of this journey is traveling through the falsely claimed highest motorable road, Khardung La Pass. Yes you heard me right, its not the highest motorable road.
Formed by the river Shyok and its tributary called Nubra or Siachen river, the valley is a blend of vast landscapes and barren yet colorful vistas. There are 2 parts to the Nubra Valley as the road bifurcates from the village of Khalsar - one goes towards the popular towns of Diskit, Hunder and Turtuk and the other one towards the Siachen basecamp. On this route lie the remote villages of Kyagar and Sumur that are like a dream come true for every nature lover And this episode is about this other and quieter side of Nubra.
Special thanks to THE KYAGAR for hosting me and making this experience extra special. For bookings and experience please check out: / thekyagar

Nubra Vally had surprised me with its view. I was blown away by how the scene changed from green river bed vally to silver sand dunes . Sitting infront of such magestic views make us realise how small we are , how small our lives are.. one day we will be just gone with the wind.. but the lake, magestic sunset , breathtaking Himalayas will always stay ..

Abhishek - this may read as an oxymoron but you make untravel the de facto way of travel. It’s amazing how you manage to present the same tourist destination in a completely different light and all your viewers are left wondering “how come I never knew this about the place”. Well, that’s what make your channel the “only, unique, one of a kind channel”.

It is a real beauty of Nubra valley one can yearn for.We had been to Nubra valley some 4-5 years back..The beauty of of Kiyagar in Sumur village is altogether different from the normal Nubra valley, awesome and spectacular..Those who want to explore interiors of this place, Kiyagar is like an apt place to move around. The majestic and panoramic view of Ladhakh Palace gives a feel of eternal peace... Picturesque beauty along 360 degree, is rarely viewed elsewhere...Too good and spectacular.....

The quality of the work itself shows what kind and hard work is worked behind the screens, the tiny details of everything. Being an art student asthetic just felt like decoration but the way the words of abhishek and the camera angee of the magican man makes me think how beautiful and funcational it can be. The homestay you travel too is just not wow but a woooooowwwww for the functional side to it. The justice you do to each each place my God no movie making medias can do it. Uff.. those views and the cinematography… I never imagined I’d ever use the words Untravel and Ladakh in a single sentence… Till now I was always repelled by the idea of going there because of all the touristy stuff that this region is associated with.. But watching this changed my mind and how ! One more place added to my bucket list.. the one which has been on everyone else’s bucket list till now, although for different reasons altogether.

one thing which was said twice by village surpanch about domestic traveller was absolutely right...we just want to cover all the points in shortest span of time..we just visit but dont create memories..people should enjoy these settings, views and must cherish them..insted of doing zigzag, ATV and ziplines..these can be done on local points as well. personal view though... but ones must enjoy these beautiful views and live these moments.

is the whole world frustrated by Indian tourist, or has it become a fashion to curse them, or is it okay to generalise everyone and call them Indian tourist, while in India? Here i have a point to make, the guy who was telling that Indian tourist are this and that ...it's true many places i have seen Indian most Indian platue tourist throw garbage rather plastic on most hiking trails, also dirty the toilets..like most of them have less toilet etiquette in public toilet but they don't want to know about food and culture when they travel that i strongly object...my grandparents, parents and us are avid travelar and we always learn whichever places we go...so are hundreds of traveler family n friends I knew ...also that guy talking about ATV ..first of all who got ATV in such places of ladakh???!! Obviously not tourist brought that??? residence over there to earn money spoiling the nature over there...only tourist can crowd the place...how you maintain that depends on local ...you can see in Sikkim no plastic at alll

At the beginning of your video you talked about how you detest the idea of riding a "bezubaan animal" and how cruel it is .I guess you want others to follow it to otherwise you wouldnt have mentioned it in your video. The ladakh is difficult terrain to live and cultivate crops. The people who are doing these camel and ATP activities are local and it adds to their much needed livelihood. They are not millionaires. Why this idea of reducing carbon footprint, sustainable living, animal cruelty and all those fancy woke parameters are only imposed on these poor and common people? And not on people like you who basically take a flight to come here adding to the carbon footprint? Why do you want others to adhere to your wokeism when you are not willing to see their difficulties? You belong to the same group of people who will happily slaughter these animals for food but tell others to not ride them as it's cruel.Hypocrite. And to everyone who is visiting these places, don't listen to these woke youtubers and please do everything that can support the local community. They need it.
