Mr. Womack, good on you for not taking the bait. CNBC guys tried to turn this into a political blame game but he was determined to avoid the politics.

Hmm Im not a gas expert nor gas passion but maybe thinking basically and realistically I think Southern Company, GTS, and many more utility and I guess nonprofit well I believe that all companies can do more perhaps lowering all the gas station prices/fix gas since everything is about gas. As for the math part, I believe that theres more engineering math formulas/solutions coming from an algebra txtbook from any grade

Agree 100% nuclear energy is a must for a carbon-free economy. To support our economy 10 years from now, we need twice the energy compared to today. That means both public & private energy sectors should work aggressively to reach this goal (exponential energy growth requirement). And at the same time, we need to invest in the green energy transition.

The Southern US needs cheap reliable energy to maintain it's edge in manufacturing and to protect the poor residents. The new nuclear plant project is a disaster from a IRR basis. Renewables won't work well in the Alabama and Georgia area unless it's hydro.
