@@HeavyMetalfps Not saying his beats are a dud, on the contrary, couldn't agree more with you, but you can clearly hear Capcom was a Nintendo thing, as there's no blast processing applied.
@@shredfactor7I think the fusion collusion is their most Megaman sounding song, it is so cool. Glad I’m not the only one who is at you jumped to Megaman when hearing this band
My thoughts exactly! As a bass player myself, I love the fact that, at least from all the NP3 songs I've heard, he goes for a crisp, clear bass sound that you can actually hear instead of a heavily distorted tone (what I call the "Dingwall through a Darkglass" sound) where the bass gets lost in the mix! It kind of reminds me of the bass playing on Watchtower's "Control & Resistance" which really stands out.
@@jaya1305I’d describe “the dingwall/dg sound” as a chunky “split n grit” where this is much more kinda active bass, mild drive. If I close my eyes this gives very Warwick, kinda Spector (with the HAZ) vibes.
@@jaya1305 As a bass player on my third year playing this is very advanced bass. Call it Putin bass tabs. Even flea would struggle. I read the bass tabs on songstar. HF..
I love how your faces all match your play styles: Vlad's focused pucker while dropping complex bass riffs, Donny's smug satisfaction as he lets the guitar sing, and Kim's delighted smile as he crashes that kit.
The music-industrial-CIA-propaganda-complex runs things around here and they pick your music for you. Now share it with all your friends and we can beat them.
A large majority of the population aren't capable of jamming on this level. It would melt their brains if they're not ready for it. We must share it with the masses. Melting frontal lobes incoming!
Official NPIII merch: downrightmerch.com/collections/nuclear-power-trio Donny had this to say about the new music video: “So Critical Bass Theory is one of the greatest songs, probably ever recorded. Everyone says so! We decided to film a performance video inside our compound, which is easily the greatest band rehearsal space/superhero lair ever. We needed someone amazingly famous who could tickle the ivories for us, so we invited a very, very special guest... our great friend Lizzy, the Queen of England! And you know what, she really did such a tremendous job... just an incredibly fantastic job. She really brings the video to life! Hope you all enjoy the playing, because it's the best!”
What an absolute unit of a band. Couldn’t imagine playing live with a mask like that probably not being able to see well. If ya’ll every tour through the Southeast US I’ll make sure to get tickets.
Ive been listening to these guys for about 6 months now. Outstanding musicianship! Great song structure. I'm in an instrumental metal band and it's way more fun than you'd think. As well as not having to put up with most singers egos. NPT ROCKS!!!
@@jameshadlock2490 Absolutely not. If they were soft, other strong nations would use this opportunity to take over the world. Look what happened since we have a comedian in Ukraine and a man in diapers in the USA. Grow up a little bit. Your miss universe speech is ridiculous, open your eyes.
Who ever the hell you people are...damn. I keep coming back to this one. Those two breaks...absolutely breathtaking, like jumping off a cliff only to fly instead of fall. My favorite feeling in all of music. Crushing it!!
These guys are amazing! Saw this video and immediately listened to everything they have made. The comedic element just makes it that much better, but this music speaks for itself ^_^ Would definitely see these guys in concert!
I appreciate that there virtuosity is an accent to the recognizable melody/harmony of a musical idea rather than the virtuosity being the main feature of a bunch of sounds calling itself “music”. And the masks are very enjoyable.
Seen this on reels on Facebook and I have to say I'm so glad I heard the full song. I absolutely love bass and this just hits all the good stuff for me
Such great instrumentals (especially the bass, omg). Not to mention I can’t help but laugh my ass off at every video. Truly one of the most entertaining things I’ve seen in a long while. Wish i had more people to share this with!
I love the idea of creating such an amazing song and after it's done going "ok now name it Critical Bass Theory". Unless the name came first but that's kinda equally as funny. Love the hell out of this band 🤘
Beautiful. Also glad someone has finally surpassed Mic Todd's Spector bass tone from old school coheed! It just sounds so liquid and smooth and punchy at the same time. Especially that low end bark, it's like asmr in music 😄
It is impossible to stop listening to this band, the musicality is through the roof. Definately picked up the torch Rush left behind after Neil's passing.
Very cool that Donnie was able to get this video filmed and the album out before his third indictment. He's going to need the money to help pay his legal fees!
