@@theirregularpioneerchannel1804 I live in Australia, Spanish congregations are a tiny fraction of the JW's here, this combined with being so far geographically form America. Plus Circuit overseer here don't speak Spanish. I feel because of this, some things get watered down over here. Crazy thing is my mum never used technology like a phone or tablet until www.jw.org came around. Now she's watching tele-novelas on youtube.

@@theirregularpioneerchannel1804 I think it was a sister from her congregation that suggested watching a meeting that brothers from mexico record, to watch days before her meeting so she could get some ideas for her upcoming talk. Mum enjoyed the mexico meeting so much she watches them on a regular basis.

@@theirregularpioneerchannel1804 NOW the cool thing is if you watch anything JW related RU-vid, RU-vid will automatically play what it's algorithm considers related content! A channel like Cliff's will eventually pop up. She will see a beautiful honest young man conducting interviews. I want her to see videos like this so she can hear all the things I can't say because I terrified to loose her

Indeed, it's a conundrum. Religions are always slow to change but through the process of seeking reform you can inform people. The change may come via financial losses are membership attrition. That's yet to be seen so we we focus on the work.

​@Chiafade now Well, I think the JW's governing body is probably going to make some drastic changes in the entire structure of this religion. And I'm not the only one who thinks this way. Check the Interview with James Penton at the John Cedars RU-vid Channel. The driving force for this organization from its very beginning has been creating a sense of urgency due to a supposedly imminent Armageddon. Now that they’ve been on this world for more than a century, they know they need to do something really big if they want to survive as an organization. At this point in history, they know they have basically two choices: they can either continue with their crazy chronology and preaching about the end of the world and disappear (this huge lie is no longer believable) or they can adapt themselves and admit the end may not come in centuries and continue existing as a much more moderate (much less apocalyptic) religion. Making predictions and failing has proven to be a strategy that they can no longer use. There are signs that they are preparing the way to eventually tell their followers that all that story about the Kingdom of God, the Gentile Times and 1914 was just a big mistake. I think their plan is to become a much less apocalyptic religious movement so that they can try to be something like the Seventh Day Adventists of today. If my theory is correct, we’ll see this happening in one or two decades or even fewer yrears.
