I would say Jokic's court vision and Mike Malone's adjustment won the game. Normally when Jokic gets the ball from Murray after the screen, he would throw up a floater or mid-range. The Clippers are so used to this, that all their defenders were trying to stop that shot. But for this game, Jokic just passed it out to the open 3-pointer. Look at 6:52, all Clippers players on the floor were looking at Jokic, there were essentially THREE shooters opened. This play alone won them like a huge portion of points. Murray is amazing as well.

If Magic had a jumper... I would argue that Jokic has greater offensive versatility than Magic ever had. Great 3 point shot, off one leg, floaters ... and I truly believe he is an even more gifted passer than Magic was. He is a freakin surgeon.

arkham I would agree with you but since I know some people I can’t really mention here who told me that the squad blew it to acquire Durant. Durant would’ve never gone to the Warriors if they won the finals. That was a confirmed statement from a source. He didn’t want it to make it seem like he’s joining a team that doesn’t really need him (which we all knew the Warriors didn’t). It was a sacrifice they were willing to make to win more chips in the future. I would’ve blown a 3-1 too if I knew I was going to win multiple more from doing so. It was a smart sacrifice from the team. The Draymond situation was the catalyst. He was the sacrificial lamb.

Damn much respect to nuggets. Game 7 from 1st to second round and beating the clippers. We might see a heat vs denver finals in my opinion. But LA has lebron and lebron is one of the goat of the game and have tons of finals experience.

What an unbelievable upset! The nuggets are really a special team, with probably the best duo of the NBA after AD-LBJ. Murray is emerging as one of the best PG of the league, I think his level is now really close to players like Curry, Lillard, Kyrie. The Joker tonight instead has shown how to play a game seven, fighting in every aspect of the game and leaving nothing to chance. With regard to the Clippers I really don't know how to explain their total lack of intensity and aggressiveness, overall at the beginning of the fourth quarter, when they needed to get back and instead they accepted the defeat in a totally passive way. I'm sure these conference finals will be very exciting! The Lakers are now favorite, but the Nuggets will not give up so easily.

At this moment absolutely yes, but I think he can be that type of player. We'll see next year what he will be able to do with the Nets and KD, I still believe he's a top player and a potential MVP.

Meanwhile Curry obviously was the core of one of the NBA's best teams ever; lillard didn't get the same results but at least he made a big difference for his team, and obviously same for murray here.
