NUKE GARA | Warframe Build Refresh 

I always like picking Gara when I get her in SP Circuit. Having millions in splinter storm is fun. Makes getting bar weapons not matter

It is always fun to see build refresh videos to give frames that might not be as used a chance to thrive (or to see how more OP we can make them). I did enjoy Gara as a defensive warframe, but watching this nuke variant definitely does look fun to try out.

I was on stream when this build was first being worked on. It's been so much fun to use (Equinox also does a pretty similar thing with Terrify and Maim, but without the stat stick). Also, the music change at 25:14 is just perfect.

Don't forget you can also put her 2, with the 90% DR, on allies and defense objectives.

Shattered storm is also a strange but fun augment that turns her into a super blender. and it makes it so enemy intense zones are safer for squads b/c allies can be near enemies affected and gain a 70%+ damage resistance. it also does 35%+ damage vulnerability on enemies.

Gara's just really strong generally. I've got a build on Gara P which has more duration and str than your preferred build, but less range and efficiency and it still slaps in SP. I might add an alternate build closer to this for the wide-range fun, though, had one like that on Gara for a while and just never bothered recreating it on Gara P. This vid will be really great for those getting Gara P for the first time through Tennocon. She's a blast.

Arcane Energize replacement I'd personally recommend is Arcane Blessing. It grants you extra health as you stack it with health orbs up to a max of 1,200 extra health. Combined with the 90% damage mitigation from her [2], that gives her a ton of survivability. She has no innate sustain, so that's a really big deal for her, helps keep her alive between health orbs. Since the build showcased in this video doesn't really care about what focus school you choose, Vazarin would be a good option. Its utility passive lets you hop into Operator, go Void Mode for 5 seconds, which puts a 50 health per second regen on your frame for 60 seconds. An alternative to Vazarin focus school, is either Magus Nourish or Magus Repair. Both of these also grant you a way to heal your frame via Operator. This requires a lot more investment to obtain, however, due to being arcanes. They're both just shop purchased though.

I sat through all the ads for this! Gara was one of the first warframes I farmed but I was so new to the game I didn’t have the know how or resources to do anything with it and I moved onto other frames so thanks for this.

I feel it’s worth considering that since the range of the explosion is 40 meters from the wall and terrify is 40 meters from you, enemies affected will always be in range of the explosion and for them to run far enough away from you, they need to run presumably at least as far away from your wall as you were from your wall when you cast terrify. Seems unlikely they will ever get far enough away.

Creeping Terrify is pretty damn nice on Titania imo. Because she's so single target focused she can get swarmed. Terrify however not only armor strips but also eliminates the threat of being shot entirely. Also means she can forgo some power strength in favor of other stats due to not needing to pump damage numbers to overpower armor.

For the new melee arcanes, the only choice is Exposure. It actually gives damage to her 1 because it adds 240% corrosive damage to her stat stick, which is applied at all times and not just to melee strikes.

I tend to favor the naramon way of this build with nourish as the subsume (energy sustain and elemental damage boost) and the Rauta to build combo, keeping the 12x up constantly. Using any of the archon Contempt weapons (dual dagger, polearm or whips) with a high riven dispo as the stat stick. (way more accessable and cheaper to buy in) Also I tend to use her augment Shattered Storm in higher level steelpath, as it allows for extra CC and a damage vulnerability 35% times strength for teammates or the wall afterwards to benefit.

Coming back to the game now, fell to my knees when I found out I missed the Gara Prime drop - she has been my favourite warframe ever since her launch 💀💀

And you get even more damage from the explosion if you actually heavy attack with the ceramic dagger to enter incarnon mode.

You should try using the tomb guardians at lv1 to stack things like molt augmented and ceramic dagger, it's much faster

Pretty cool vid, may dust off my Gara some, kinda missed her really cx However, I do have somethings to add. I get that it's a video mainly directed for newerer or fresher players so there is no point in boring them about deeper mechanics like difference between slash and puncture for stat stick mods and such but could be advised to mention why you prefer the swipe of her 1 instead of the bolt, aka, why you recommend inverting the ability. But most importantly, you forgot to mention that you start with 76% reduction on her 2 with this build and you need to refresh it once you stack up molt augmented for the 90% you mentioned

Corrupt Charge isn't used for Ceramic? Also would a riven with 3x %120 element damage do more damage? I don't have a riven for ceramic

this would be exceedingly good for a lot of interception missions maybe except arbitration and with nullifiers but guns can take care of those kind of nuisances

If you slotted an electric melee damage mod, would this cause her 1 and 4 to trigger Archon stretch for the constant energy regen? EDIT: Self-tested, doesn't work.

So i dont have a lot of what you talked about, from helminth to incarnons to the arcanes. Im still trying to get my necramech and helminth. Is there some sort of way you have a mid-range build to achieve similar results?

Gara is the perfect example to show off just how dumb the "Grineer are the hardest faction" crowd is. Yeah, Grineer are the tankiest - they're also the most susceptible to CC abilities like Mass Vitrify Watch all the new players take this build against Corpus or Corrupted, have all the Nullifiers (and enemies that happen to be in the bubbles with them) survive and proceed to fold them into grasshoppers. This is assuming they don't try and max the explosion distance and have the ability cancelled by enemies they haven't seen yet. Not saying Gara can't handle these enemies, but only showcasing what she can do against the faction that is basically as easy to kill as the Infested, it just takes longer, is at best, only reporting half the story.

I have only one complaint about Gara, and that is that her [1] has shorter range than her [4] (if you let the [4] expand to its full range). So if you want to absolutely max the total explosion area of her [4], you have to move forward a little (like 2-3 meters) before you smack the wall with your [1]. It's a minor complaint, but it gets _real_ annoying over time. Ultimately though, nuke Gara is super boring. I really want to see some interesting assault trooper builds for her, to really play into her knightly theme. She's such a cool frame, but everyone just makes the easy nuke builds for her and lets her overall design go to waste.

I’d recommend instead of energize molt efficiency, which is as long as you have shields active, 36% extra power duration.

So i assume terrify over hildryns ability becasue of the splinter storm is a defensive ability. or is it harder to get the armor strip from hildryns ability its been awhile since ive been playing.

So if i dont have ceramic dagger, am i supposed to build up and maintain combo manually or gara's abilities do that somehow?

I'm not sure what ability it was but I had an absurd aura on an arbitration survival and was COMPLETELY unkillable I don't even use a stat stick (just a paracesis heavy build) and this aura that buffed melee damage was giving me as much as you without combo. (TLDR try this with a damage boosting ally!)

I dropped Augur Reach and threw in Adaptation for more survivability

Do Slash mods even actually affect Gara's abilities when using Ceramic Dagger? Even though Ceramic Dagger has no Slash at all in the first place?

So do the 60 % elemetals out scale the initial combo mods available to the ceramic dager?

Terrify also works well with volt for the same reason as Gara I guess xD Volt dont really scale too well in SP though hopefully this does xD

What do yo think of using a strong secondary to kill the enemies you need for the ceremic dagger combo and using the Argonak with the Amalgam Argonak Metal Auger mod to reduce armor with the dagger? Do we know if that will apply to the one and therefore the shattered 4? Will that help at all or no?

if we're using gara to fight corpus should we put pillage on instead?

I notice that, because he wanted to lower the investment cost of this build for all the people getting Gara for free, there are no archon shards. I gave her (regular) shards for casting speed and duration, and three for strength. This let me replace augur secrets and augur message with splintered storm and streamline. With max efficiency and my rank 1 energize I don't have energy issues except occasionally at the start of the mission, so I switched to Naramon. Now I'm not sure what weapon would work best. Would it make sense - or even work - to add flat crit chance and crit damage? Would flat crit and status chance from an incarnon genesis let you crit and proc slash?

I wonder how this would interact with Energy Channel or proton snap, and maybe arcane arachne

Replace Buzz Kill with North Wind for more damage, and Voltaic Strike with Corrupt Charge to bring the combo multiplier up to 8.0x.

I love high level sp circuit just the other day i was doing solo with wisp made it till enemy lvl 2000 cleared the whole map then vorr spawned and wiped the floor with me lol

Luckily, I do have Naramon leveled. I actually like it a lot more than Zenurik since it actually does something other than patch up energy problems.

I modified the mag build by dropping adaptation and adding umbral intensify and a single cast of crush with the augment strips all armor from enemies using just one tau forged crimson shard (may not need to be tau forged) this is before molt augmented comes into play so it's not really needed but more strength is always good

This is the FIRST time you thought the strip that isn't blocked by line of sight and doesn't take absurd str was ideal? Just have a solution for unaffected enemies and it's an insane kills per minute boost when you (Or your team!) deal crazy dmg outside of your own line of sight too, natutally. I'm just gonna assume you haven't used Maimquinox since Terrify was buffed, no pun intended, but it's night and day.

Just use a R3 overextended instead of a R5, you can then just use madurai sling strength to full strip without the need to build up molt augmented Its barely a range difference at all

cool build, although you aren't 100% correct about her 1 being unable to crit! subsuming kullervo's 1 onto gara actually adds flat crit % onto the ability so you can switch to the ceramic dagger incarnon evolution 4 for status chance, making your 1 actually able to proc slash, removing the need to armor strip. (edit) alternatively instead of augur reach you could try creeping terrify so enemies running away from you is not that much of an issue.
