CORRECTIONS: Pacify does have a cap at 95%, which was discovered by commenter ZharkonXeron using Equinox in the circuit. Based on my own math, this is achieved at a monsterous 1000% power strength. My note about Magnetize's explosion scaling at 14:50 is wrong, it does scale in damage the more enemies it hits. I originally said I wasn't sure because I couldn't find a way to test it, so I was just going off the wiki's wording, but after realizing Magnetize's augment can cause explosions without the original target dying I can now confirm for sure that more enemies = more explosion damage. In regards to the Slash status in Railjack, Idan clarified for me the formula is base damage * 1.075^n, with n being the slash proc count. As such, Tear being multiplicative is actually a good thing, I just misunderstood it because the information about the status is so limited.
Also does any of these "status effects" are actually classified as the same such that u can spread these from one enemy to another by means like... Mecha set?! Edit: Stuff like microwave status counts for condition overload stack, so I wonder if anything that contributes to that can also contribute to mecha set...
Apparently Desecrate has been changed? It doesn't appear that dismembered corpses count individually anymore, as far as my testing goes it looks like the ability only counts enemy kills now.
@@A_Game_Zone The status effects in this video aren't counted by things like mecha and condition overload as far as I'm aware. Damage vulnerability also does work on some bosses, mostly older ones, but I'd have to test to find out what works specifically.
Volt's discharge nerf where the duration has FALLOFF is fucking terrible imo. Even if DE is too scared to give it electric procs, at the very LEAST remove this BS duration loss. They nerfed this on volt like 7 years ago or something.
IIRC when they were showing the Cold/Frost changes pre-Jade release someone brought up Volt and Reb said he's probably due for something but they have other priorities atm. I could see something happening next year after 1999 as long as we keep bringing it up during Devshorts/streams. With there being a Volt Proto-frame and them packaging Nyx and Trinity rebalances with their Proto-frames I can't think of a better time to make it clear we want to see a QoL and rebalance pass on him as well. Though honestly more than anything I want them to do a passives rebalance pass. Give Volt something related to electricity instead of rubbing socks on a carpet to obtain annoying sibling powers, give Rhino an actual passive, stuff like that.
for example, as of now, the only way to progress on Incarnon quests is if the host currently has that same incarnon quest active. specifically this means you usually would have to be the host yourself. I did at one time get a popup for quest progression, when another player joined my mission with the same incarnon quest, and my own finished afterwards.
Honestly its wild what they get this old ass engine to do. I was playing railjack the other day and its so well done. It uses alot of the same tricks starfield does to reduce overhead. Basically alot of separate instances joined by loading screens. But Warframe has all its instances running effectively simultaneously with minimal loading screens that are well hidden and tiny. Not to mention its space gameplay is night and day above anything starfield has AND its four player co-op. It might not be the most popular gamemode but it is an incredible technical achievement.
@@craigkingdon4424 I've seen proofs of people testing the limits of Warframe's engine! Extremely fast Gauss that results in camera to be tilted upside-down. My PC crashing 2 days ago when trying to spawn Grofit Maker. Accidental 8 player squads in ascension thx to stalker bug. This game can push gameplay to high limits! Yet it's the "math error" number overloading which can crash it...
more than just some love, and not just night form. Equinox as A WHOLE, needs love. like lots of it. according to the wiki, she has not had a rework, since being introduce. and she is nearly 10 years old. she needs a rework/buff more than caliban IMO.

She's so much more than just day form nuke (which requires so much Gymnastics to properly function) yet people defend it like she has 0 problems. DE give ma girl some luv pls.. I love how so many abilities have rudimentary nerfs and restrictions that serves to prevent them from being OP when Sevagoth and his first two augments exist. Also, if you dont know, Sevagoth's Shadow's third ability procs the same debuff and Sevagoth's first ability, and the augments apply.
Scott and Steve actually tried to keep thing balanced, albeit sometimes killing potential enjoyment of new things or nerfing old things hard, with no future review. New team practically doesn't care at all except in terms of CC, which they hate lol.
A note about Ripkas' Amalgam mod: enemies killed with gore active will always split into two parts, but it also prevents them from being additionally dismembered. It is trading convenience for maximization, as you're better off doing more dismembers with a stronger weapon, but it's nice when the squadmates run it.
So funnily enough, aside from the trolling aspects, Night Form Equinox giving enemies more damage has hilarious implications with Octavia Mallet setups
@@simonsoupshark8009 I thought about this. The main issue I’m having with the setup is where the optimal math falls for whether you run power donation on equinox, nova, or both. If you have it on one but not the other than the one that doesn’t have it will get less negative strength for their setup. However, running both would counteract it for each other. You would still want to run at least one for the strength boost it gives to the Octavia.
I remember a time when equinox was concidered good. I was a fresh tenno then, and I spent days and days farming her base parts, because I wanted a "nuke frame", even though I didn't even know what that was back then. Now I'm LR4, and I haven't touched my Equinox prime in several years. I find more use in Loki than Equinox these days.... Fucking Loki.

@@giles.9862Yup, she does need it to have a smooth time. Still, it sucks that she is basically a press 4 to win. Sevagoth in practice pulls of her concept much better. A room nuker with the versatility of another form + strong aoe cc and dmg vulnerability. She really needs some buffs or at least some qol changes.
i keep getting this weird status effect called "mating press" every time i equip yareli, it doesnt seem to do much but i can occasionally hear Sabuuchi laughing in the distance whilst playing... DE should really get that checked out
First of all, hi wimmy Second, the slash effect of Railjack isn't bad *because* it's multiplicative. Total damage = base damage * 1.075^n, where n is the amount of slash procs. That means that at 10 stacks you're doing double damage instead of just 1.75x damage. Or at 15 stacks you do almost triple instead of just above double. And Slash is somehow the most realistic proc to get, because that one shotgun-like Railjack weapon can actually proc enough to make it reasonable to have 15 procs at a time.
I have, 0 idea if this is related, but petrify will still tag an enemy as petrified, even if they aren't visually petrified. Never used the augment in question as I only know my tidbit from testing (and using) ore gaze on my loot frames, but it could be related.
My favorite damage vulnerability skill is Qorvex's Containment Wall. It has an augment that strips armor and shields, and grants a free recast of his first ability in the correct conditions to the already existing Pillars. It's basically a gigabuff to your damage.
I made a video on Doom multipliers, so you lost some stuff, first is that grave spirit buff make that any redirected damage to count as double for the store, so if you have 100% redirection and did 100 damage with grave spirit active, 200damage will be stored instead of 100, while viral and roar dont influence stored damage in doom for insta- kill mechanic, they both work on damage the scythe will do when the 2 second expires, meaning that if you have 10 viral, grave spirit and 100% roar on a 100% redirection damage doom, if you make 100 damage, viral will first make 400 by its increase in damage, roar will double damage dealt x2 so its goes for 800, grave spirit will double that amount to 1600 damage on doom, if the 2 seconds expires , the scythe will attack, if viral is still present, it will add +300% damage again, pushing it to 6.4k and with roar active , it will double again, arriving at 12.8k damage.
okay, thanks for brining Equinox up, and how bad her DR is. but to add to that, her whole kit, except maybe the day form of her 4, maim, is BAD and underperforming. example, i have a 234 power strenght equinox, in her day form, she can grant allies, power strenght, this buff with 234% strenght gives allies 43% more power strenght. i also have a jade, with 195% (ish) power strength, and her power strenght buff to her allies, is 46%. Equinox's DR power, buff power, heck her sleep and damage vulnarability power, are very weak, near useless, part of her night form's 4, mend, is that it gives shields upon killing, how much shield do i get pr. kill with a strenght of 234? 56 shields. in the time it takes you to kill 1 enemy and then the next one, you will likely have lost double that amount. anyway. equinox rant over. really cool video, and neatly informative. keep it up. 21:04 They are also notably buffed by nourish, as I'm sure most know. This also allows them to proc viral status instead of radiation. I'd assume other elemental buffs would allow their procs to happen as well.

Slight potential correction. I am pretty sure that with Crimson Curse (Garuda's 4) you can still trigger a natural slash procs. But not forced slash procs. Since from what I remember the way forced procs in general work is that you can only trigger 1 source of a forced proc per status type. So if you have both Hunter Munitions and Internal Bleeding on your gun. Then you can either get the slash from crits or the slash from impact, but not both. But if you have a different force proc status e.g. Hystrix's forced base elements then those will still be able to proc alongside the slash instance. I am very much sure this is the case since if you use for example Garuda's Talons or even better Dorrclave (100% slash) then you can find yourself applying multiple slash procs per hit on an enemy effected by Crimson Curse. Without going over 100% status chance.
Hey, I have a question. Does Guardian Derisions taunt also count as a status effect? I couldn't find any explanation bar the range, for how the mechanic works on the wiki
Taunting is actually one I completely forgot about, but I think it could be in a future episode. Styanax's rally point does it too, and let's you do some funny stuff like force thumpers to face you.
Fun fact: an enemy that is melted, incinerated, or atomised has their corpse removed almost instantly, making stealth much easier as there's nothing for unalerted enemies to find.
I'm not a mag player so this is completly unintuitive for me but i was making some tests with her bubble. And this explosion is crazy. I spawn 225lv 20x corrupt heavy gunners. I casted bubble in the center. Shoot once with arca plasmor. One sec and one bleeding ear later everyone was dead. Bubble was still active. So i spawn another 20 heavys. It didnt suck them and like third of them stand outside of bubble. But explosion kill all of them. Doom refering to Hades would have a lot of sense bc doom in hades work very similiar. You hit enemy with attack imbued with doom. He gets doom mark. And second later he gets aditional hit. And taking stuff from hades also make sense bc everyone there is hot. So Reb for sure played this.
I really like how much white he uses in his fashion. Its just really pleasing to they eye. Also when the first frame i saw was mesa that meme with buzz lightyear in a store with tons of other buzzes came to mind(i'm a mesa main too).
So I used that negative strength on night equinox with precision intensify and wrathful advance on 4 with a radiation duplicate zenistar and man is it fun to watch enemies kill each other .
Equinox’s Pacify does actually have a cap, I had the same thoughts to myself while I was testing with her about a seemingly endless ability to reduce damage, but if you buff her with a Nidus or use her in the Circuit you can see that it’s capped at 95% damage reduction, although how much Strength exactly is required, I’m not sure yet
Hey this is unrelated, but to add to the weird and obscure list, you can perform an emote like True Master followed immediately by an emote like Deca Heirloom (or any that spawn decals) to remove the decal and replay the True Master particle effect instead. This means you can perform Deca Heirloom or Tennocon emotes without that ugly glyph blocking them. Likewise, True Master into certain emotes like Sit, Shawzin, etc, I believe cause a straight up soft-lock.
Equinox's pacify is REALLY bad since yeah, look at gara who gets that 90% DR with a tiny strength investment over any range because she herself has that buff, she doesnt give enemies a debuff.
5:34 if you’re looking for a name for effects that reduce the damage enemies deal, I suggest “Enervation”. It’s a common term used in a lot of gaming circles to describe abilities that sap strength, to i think it fits.
I think I saw occasionally the puncture damage dismemberment and its not a hole in a body but a body that is missing significant chunk of their guts while the body is still whole.
So. In terms of the math with armor/damage reduction I imagine They seem to have diminishing returns because it gains more and more value as you gain more armor or DR EX: 99% is actually 100% more DR than 98% I imagine that’s why equinoxes pacify works the way it does with base scaling
33:57 i was always thinking that certain elements that causes on-death effects also cause corpses disappear at different times, like heat kill will burn corpses much more quickly and sometimes necros can't desecrate fast enough if huge pack of mobs was killed at once. I remember i was in the farm group with ppl who prefer something like khora/speed nova/necros/necros do be sure to desecrate all corpses fast enough, and it kind of worked. (maybe double necros is good there because of nova's molecular. This is probably because her 4 work that way in general, or because low str nova also speeding up corps disappearing timer, not only mobs movement, dunno really). But i also see form time to time when i playing necros that i desecrate empty spaces where corpses was... weird. also hi wimmy
I love your part 1 of these weird status effects and I regard it as one of the best examples of warframe's crazy niche mechanics. There's a part of my brain that just plays the video constantly so that when I'm crafting a build I think back on that one niche status that I can abuse. Jade's glory also deals impact damage for some reason, so technically if you have the Hemorrhage mod, you can make her glory judgement explosions deal slash damage lol.
I'm just putting a comment here in reply to your excellent 'Why new players quit warframe' video. I thought it was insightful and helpful. I also want to introduce new people to the game and try to avoid the pitfalls as much as I can, so they can enjoy it as much as I do. Thanks so much for making a well thought out video and despite me not agreeing on everything, I respect all the great ideas that went into it and think you have provided the community with something good. Hopefully there won't be too much negativity in the future and you will have an enjoyable time interacting with your viewers. Most Warframe players I've met are really amazing and helpful
