This one was played on the radio and blasting through the miserable speakers while i drove to work yesterday morning, in the dark through the woods. I'm a logger, this really hyped the enthousiasm up. It was going to be a great day falling and I knew it when I heard this song. Keep up the oldskool beat. Peace.
The original song/dancetrack where both LA Style and N.U.K.E. sampled that 'Ooh Nana' from is: Nicolette - O Si Nene (1991) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-bLI3n6SUsoE.html
I never knew in which direction it went because they aired simultaneously in the Netherlands. Also I was never sure if it was really the same voice/sampling because the melody actually differs a bit (tone two and three are on one and the same pitch for N.U.K.E. but not for L.A. Style, think about that).
el rastrillo Sorry to say this is really Nuke with Nana. They sound a little a like, you are right about that. Not sure who borrowed from who.... Nuke entered the dutch charts in week 43 in 1992 and LA Style 2 weeks later.
