There is visible kick back there that’s why the pedal is lifting and the derailer is stretching out. You will feel this most on smooth deep compressions big takeoffs
It depends on what type of hub you are using, i am using DT swiss 32 tooth engagement so therefore i o chain does not make a difference but if u are using chirsking or i9 then yes o chain make difference
@@calvintys on an easton havoc dh hub here, think it’s 24 points. More points help put the power down faster, but that’s parts of a second faster, and it is usually needed on XC or trail bikes. For a dh/park bike i don’t think it’s needed.
