Seems a Celtic concept, they have something like this in Galicia (Spain), it's called "morrinha" and curiously it's also the local name for the Morrigan, the Goddess of War. One of the triple goddesses, though nothing to do with "the made, the mother and the crone" as all three persons of the Morrigan were bloodthirsty warriors.

This album is a pearl. An entire opera that is never boring, original and full of great passages. This guy is very talented and all his works are just AWESOME. Two hours of beauty and epic vibes. Simply great, one of the best releases in 2021 so far and, I'm sure, for the whole year. Standing ovation.

Some of this reminds me of Old Wintersun/Ensiferum. Old Growth Forest, Long Shadows and Forest Walk gives me instant Ensiferum vibes. 27:57 and 1:38:07, 1:44:30 is outstanding black metal.

There are moments in this album where I was like "wtf is happening here?!?!" but usually after 3 to 5 seconds after it was more of a "wow really nice combo"... Enjoyed the whole album a lot :)

Pretty cool. Quite well done, what a release, bet it was a big effort. Not sure if I've come across this guy before. Just listened to a bit of Lore of the Sleeping Forest, need to go back for a full listen, more of an almost-DSBM atmospheric vibe, this one much more folk. Maybe the name "Null" doesn't fit as well!! Someone mentioned "Wayward" below. The intro to it reminded me of the game Banished, or some of its soundtrack at least.

I love null. I discovered them one day while on a few hits of acid, Lore of a sleeping forest, and it sent chills up my spine and had me mesmerized thru the entire album. To me, the name of this album is in reference to many of us trapped in the states in a region we don't belong in. Us caucasians belong in Europe. In my personal opinion.
