Nullarbor is one of my favourite places to drive through. I spent new years eve 94' sleeping in my car somewhere before Eucla close to the cliffs. A memory that will stay forever.
I love your video, beautiful well done enjoy it very much. I did that 16 years ago we drive from Broome. I want to do more travelling more around, cause I’m retired more time.☺️👍
Glad you enjoyed it! Traveling solo should not limit you too much, there are always other travellers out there to help out if needed. Good for you for still getting out there! We admire solo travellers 😊
Thanks yous to both ..I have been thro the nullabor so many times but didn t take time to go thro all the that attractions..perhaps next time I should take it easy like you did...thanks you ..may you continue to have good health and happiness and do more of clips showing all the that attractions that you go thro along the way..surely I and many others will follow your footstep
Excellent review of the Nullarbor, we done something similar in 2021, no rain going over back had a heavy downpour first night out of Norseman, wind was kind, we were not as adventurous as you guys but will be next time.
I've driven to Perth twice in the last year in a truck but being work we can't look around and only stop overnight at motels so apart from the highway we saw nothing lol. Thanks to your video now I know what to look forward to when I travel from next August in my campervan. Thanks
Loved this video. I’m coming to Australia in Sept ‘24. I’m renting a campervan from Perth for 2 weeks. Been a dream to visit/travel the Nullabor region. Thank you for the info on what’s out there. Geoff
That old Telegraph station and post office, vanish with each passing year. Yes I've watched people crossing the Nullarbor. I've also heard of the Nullarbor Links ;) I don't drive, vision is not good enough. But I've watched people cross the Nullarbor on a bike. Maybe one day.
Fancy raining across the Nullarbor ha! Very much enjoyed your video 💓 can you advise if those dirt roads you traveled on in the first part of the video were 4WD? Thanks. Definition the best video in the Nullarbor…. I must remember to pack my golf club before I leave. My hubby’s name is Glen too but he only has one ‘n’……. minimalist🤣🤣🤣🤣
Thanks for the massive compliment! The road to Murra El Evelyn would be fine in 2WD if it was dry, but everything changes with rain! The golf was a lot of fun 😃
Well done guys. I'm heading off soon to drive the Nullarbor. How accessible is the beach in a 2 wheel drive Mercedes Sprinter van? I am also mobility impaired so long walks are a no no. I've driven one lap of Australia so far. This'll be number 2...of many.
If you are refering to the beach at Eucla old jetty, definitely can’t take the sprinter, and unfortunately it’s a long walk. There really isn’t any other beach along the Nullarbor, it’s all cliffs with stunning views. These are accessible in a 2WD. Enjoy your trip!
Judging by the video date I expected this to be filmed in December, but that weather doesn't look like December on the nullabor. Last time I went through was in whale season and I agree. You can see the whales anywhere from the cliffs, but the best spot to see them is at the head of the bight. You can also free camp just outside the gate, there's a fenced in area there.
@@happycampersaustralia wow, still close to summer. You must have caught the last of the rain for the season. Yeh, I remember crossing several times as a kid in the 70's and 80's, travelling for christmas. It was a horror show. a family of 6 travelling in an old nissan van before the days of air-con. I never wanted to travel through there ever again. Then I needed to travel through there one august and it was a totally different place. It really is amazing if you take your time, like this trip of yours.
Thank you so much for this video. It was very informative and we are heading there next month. Will watch again and make some notes😊. We’re taking our golden lab with us. Is there anywhere you went we can’t take her? Golf course ? Thank you in advance
Loved your video which has inspired me to get a van and travel, could you please tell me how safe it is though for females either on their own or with others I am in your age group.
Tanks may be full but do You ever carry fresh water in the tug? . Would have been good to show a vit more the sign at noresman regarding what you must have
Can’t remember exactly, but we don’t do big drive days. If we did we wouldn’t see as much as we do! It would not have been more than a few hundred each day???? Sometimes we only drive 50km, we like those days 😜
Very funny. Most caravanners are respectful drivers, unlike the ones you describe. Safe travels, and I hope you have a great trip across the Nullarbor 😃
