Here's the latest Henry from Numatic International with an upgraded HEPA filter and a full set of cleaning tools including both full sized and mini turbo nozzles.
In this video I unbox the cleaner and demonstrate it on various surfaces including pet hair removal and hard floor cleaning performance.
Please note that I purchased this cleaner myself. It was not gifted to me from Numatic International or any retailer.

You can't go wrong with a Henry! I must admit I nearly got rid of my Henry a few weeks ago, as I found it somewhat heavy to carry up and down the stairs due to my health. So I bought a cheap Hoover upright (Hoover Breeze Evo). The performance of it was pretty poor on hard flooring. So I swapped it with my mother's old Miele cylinder (who she almost tripped and fell over a couple of times). So I'll use Henry downstairs, and Miele upstairs! I did treat Henry to an aftermarke stretchy extension hose, to make it easy to vaccuum the stairs :-)

I recently had to get a new vacuum cleaner for my grandma and we got an AEG VX82 series machine. Relatively light weight and insanely quiet at just 57db. Sadly you don't have those in the UK, but if you ever look for a machine to import from Germany that will seriously impress you noise wise, you should try one. Would love to hear what you would have to say about them, Roger!

I worked for the local authority doing maintenance, cleaning up after with their red numatic hoover ,I was so impressed I bought one had it for 20 years ,then upgraded to a George had him for about 10 years now ,I get to use all sorts of hoovers but the Henry range are always the best.

I really can't imagine that combination floor tool would last any length of time in a commercial environment. I think they should always have a head with a metal base plate.

Thankyou Roger, I always enjoy your reviews. That's great value vacumn cleaner set up. No other manufacturer comes close on the size and efficacy of its filtration. Those bags last me for months in normal use. I really enjoy using my Henry NRV240-11 but if I was looking for another vacumn cleaner then this is the one I would go for.

yeh i agree that new standard nozzle looks cheap plasticly compared to the older one - i have the henry 160 bought 2 years ago and even that seemed cheaper nozzle feel then they used to be. I ended up buying the airobrush as found it works better on carpet but only issue i have is you cant seem to height adjust it, so it doesn't "spin" at all when im vaccuming unless i lift it off the carpet. and makes a VERY loud grinding noise after i cleaned some hairs out - is that normal? - i wonder if you can buy the clean air "motor" - eg just the main body part without any tools? as i already have them but my allergies have been getting worse lately - lots of sneezing! (either way the henry 160 i have is 1000 times better then using bagless with my asthma)

My 2001henry is so good and I recently had bought a 2020 160 build quality was poor floor to was pliable and ugly so i stent it back

I don’t have one, but I expect it does, although standard Henry’s have so much suction that the air moving is louder than the cleaner.

I wonder why Numatic has 2 colored HepaFlo bags, both look the same but I don't know why one is in green and other is in red, is it because the red HepaFlo bag have more filtration properties?

I feel I have to be careful when pushing it on carpets as I can be pushing it along normally then all of a sudden it jumps n whacks into furniture. At least make the current design with metal base plate !

It’s a post motor filter. The exhaust air goes through it before exiting the cleaner.

No, those EU ratings are no longer required on vacuum cleaners. Most of the brand new models I’ve bought recently don’t have them. They still have to be under 900 watts and under 80db to meet the regulations.

@@a.a674 ok. But the main floorhead’s quality looks TERRIBLE. Not happy at all with Numatic for supplying it with all their cleaners. But yes it would be excellent if it had the hard floor tool. I’ve been using mine recently and it’s AWESOME!!

@@huskyvacs You don’t have to cut up floors or rip out drywall you’re only putting 100 to maximum of 500 feet of pipe in your house you’re not putting very much pipe in your house and it’s quieter more powerful and cleans far better than not a normal vacuum

VacMaster 2020 You forget British homes generally have solid masonry walls internally as well as externally rather that Sheetrock over studwork. Basements are unheard of although some older homes may have a small cellar under one or two rooms. Crawl space is severely limited if it exists at all in many houses, and attic spaces may not extend over the entire house as in many older homes the attics were habitable space, or have been converted to habitable space. Installing a central vacuum is therefore a very disruptive and expensive process here, which is why they are a very rare feature of UK homes.

@@ibaisaic Cables have been for at least ten years now and have been appaling quality but these plugs will be even more terrible especially when used commercially and yanked out of sockets.Earth pin will just snap.

@@a.a674 Some sockets have a tight earth socket, and the earth pin gets chewed up by it. It’s always best to use a metal pin. I disagree with plastic earth pins, especially on an appliance like this. Not only that, but you’ve got plastic scraps stuck in your socket. My house has older sockets, and I don’t think they were designed with plastic earth pins in mind. I think I’ll cut it off and replace it with a new plug.
