My magnificent wife requested I do this cover of Numb Little Bug by Em Beihold! She also wanted me to make sure to dedicate it to all the "numb little bugs" out there 😊💖
I never heard this song before my wife suggested it and it grew on me the more I learned it! The lyrics are quite relatable & strong, and as I worked on the music I realized it, too, resembled a "numb little bug" in that on its surface it seems like a happy little song, but as you dive into it, you realize it's a bit more complex than you first realized! Such as several little interludes, incomplete phrases as you go on, and a chord progression that breaks all music theory guidelines! 😄
