Watch our Introduction video on the book of Numbers, which outlines the book's main theme and how it is fulfilled in Jesus. Numbers shows us what it looks like to get trapped in the cycle of sin. Whether it was Israel in the wilderness or ourselves in the city, we all disobey and are headed toward punishment. Only Jesus can break the cycle of sin, intercede for us, and bring us out of the wilderness to himself.

I am actually left speechless after this video. Numbers was a book that i always (like many others) couldn't see the meat through all the genealogies and numbers. (You can tell i enjoy spoken words when i write a spoken word as a youtube comment) the visualizations in these videos are some of the most stunning i have ever seen. Second only to another great christian youtuber named full of eyes, but he does animations and even then, it's debatable. I see this as one of the best messages for the modern generation because we are in those children's shoes, we have the ability to see other people's mistake even from years into the past and learn from them and see that we need to not just have Jesus, but use Jesus as the resource he has made himself for overcoming sin. This is a youtube series i didn't know i needed and can no longer live without (exaggeration of course but you know what i mean)

Yet again, thank You Jesus! Thank you God! 💖 I finished the book of Numbers today but I needed this to refresh my memory and just connect everything together! Thank you so so much for letting God use you to speak to me, to us. So many times I have questioned God for His actions because they seem "cruel" when it was actually what we deserve, death for our sins. And all He did was giving us chances multiply times. Right now, this is God's grace period. I hope that we don't waste that. Jesus already dues for us and yes! Broke the cycle of sin buy that doesn't mean we should continue to do so! Let's live lives that are pleasing to our God!! God bless you everyone!!! 💞

Wowww this was good. Just finish numbers and wanted a little more commentary/word on it and wow this was wonderful. It hit me when the speaker said Jesus finally broke the chain of sin. It put back into perspective how powerful Jesus truly was. Wow Amen! Hallelujah.

I’m sorry you think that. I would encourage you to read Hebrews chapters 3-4 and see how the author talks about the happenings of Numbers and ties it to Jesus, both as the one who gives us rest and as our great high priest and intercessor. Hope this helps draw a firmer line between Numbers and the work of Jesus. Thanks!

I used to think that the Levite’s role was so lame and not worth noting. Then I realized what it was meant to harken back to. They were to take care of the tabernacle, which is where God’s spirit dwelled. The tabernacle had cheribum on the curtain infront of the holy of holies, where God’s spirit was. God set up Cheribum to guard the way to the tree of life and the garden of Eden. Adam’s and Eve’s role in the garden of Eden was to take care of it. So the Levite’s role was basically to take care of the new Eden. God was trying to create a new place for him and people. The Levite’s role seems like it doesn’t really matter, but it does! They were part of God’s plan to create a new dwelling place; what an honour to be a key part of that mission! What they did mattered way more than meets the eye.

Numbers does not refer to digits, which digits are God's language, digits transcend language barriers. Numbers is about cycles. Time is a cycle (time is also linear) and we use digits to measure time. "Israel" is the combination of "Isis", "Amen-Ra", and "El (ohim)". As it relates to time, "Isis" represents Minutes, "Amen-Ra" represents Hours, and "El" represents Seconds.

Because we don't learn from our past sins, we make the same mistakes that our ancestors made. Now we're in their position; slavery in the east, discrimination against certain peoples, forcing agenda on children. But instead of fighting against it like our ancestors did, today people embraces it. Or turns the other cheek. I'm practically embarrassed to be the same species as them.
