You really need to offer this kit with a round shift lever like the kit FD offers, AKA the Singer look. It looks much better as a finished product that way. It's only a single part of the kit that would need to change. Unfortunately many of us simply can't stomach a plastic shift knob, no matter what you call it, and the 917 style wood option truly is king in this world so you need a way to offer that option. Nobody who knows how to drive stick needs a shift diagram. :)
Awesome! I have your shifter and cables in my 997. Looking forward to this on my 964 also. An adjustable golden rod video would be great with your shifter at the same time.
It would be great to see side by side comparison stock vs numeric throw in 964/993. Saying that from what I can see it is massive improvement over flimsy stock shifter. I’ve installed numeric shifter in my 996 and it completely transformed the car. I’ve ordered numeric shifter for my 993 as well - if it’s comparable to 996 experience then it’s worth every penny. Regards to all your team
Next time we get a car in for an install we can install it on the shorter setting and show the difference, but the throws are about a quarter inch shorter in each gear
@@carterames7214 At the end of the day it comes down to preference, but they are both much shorter than the stock throw. We just personally prefer the longer one for casual driving. Some track guys may prefer the shorter throw. It is very subjective for everyone but both of them feel fantastic.
