www.freestyleforum.net - for all your freestyle nunchaku needs! An incredibly talented guy performing single and double nunchucks. I don't know his name, the vid is from Cafe Daum.
I've been checking on this video for a while now, I can't believe this hasn't reached a million views yet, I swear it has the same amount of views since last month. not to mention this video is 5 years old.
As a nunchaku practitioner myself I can tell you right now that training hurts. The chain wraps around your shoulders, neck, and sides, then on the pull-back they can dig in kinda. And since he's going at that speed I can only imagine how much training he had to do to get that down so perfectly. Great vid thx for posting!
Yup, I've been this good for a while though not doing much in martial arts for several years. This is so far the first video to impress me. All the other videos I could easily look at and say, yeah i could do that. This one I had to watch a couple times and aside from 1 trick, which I just have never put time into I could indeed do all of it. Amazing video and Kudos to the guy since this is the first and so far only video to "wow" me using this weapon.
wow, i seriously admire you that was amazing, especially for free form i love your wrist control, and how you're able to spin the chuks in different directions beautiful work :)
Dude, trust me, you certainly can... this is coming from someone who has trained with nunchaku and hit himself on the back of the head many times in the process. I wouldn't describe the sensation as tickling.
Wow, that's truly incredible. I don't think most people realize just how fucking hard that is. Anyone can do it, but to do it that fast and that elegantly. This is art here.
That's very nice. You're very skillful. I have a metal nunchaku. Tried many techniques but always hurt myself. Anyone who negative comment this vid should try it yourself and you will know how difficult it is.
thats totally amazing. I had my very first weapon training on friday, and we trained mostly with chux. You get better pretty quickly, but this guy is just in another class... hell, he's like 10x better than my master, Shihan Raynald Lamarre, wich is a kickboxing champion, Kyokushin karate champion, etc. He's not a pro with weapons, as Kyokushin karate don't use weapons a lot (I heard they will come back though), but he's still pretty good... But this guy is just above all!
observe his passing speed, its one of the slowest things he does... multiply that by about .75 and thats his practical fighting speed. Nice work great style !
How about ordering some nunchaku and practicing with them. They're a very unique, versatile instrument that can be quite fun yet dangerous. A key to training is to perform fundamental techniques slowly hundreds of times, before accelerating, adding angles, linking moves, etc. Be prepared to go through tens of thousands of repetitions of the same forms and motions before reaching a refined skill...
You can use nunchakus as a set, which is called double nunchakus, but most people actually prefer them in singles because there's more fluidity and more you can do. When I'm using double, I find that they can limit the tricks you do unless you find a way to synchronize them just so, but unless your competing and working on a form for it, it's funner to just freestyle with singles. Sorry for the essay.
He is the best that never I have seen ... i know use the nunchaku but this guy i'ts amaysing ... his tecnics it's perfect ... some day i will be like him ... :D Protearius
Man this guys crazy i'll never get to his status. U gotta have skills not just practice to be like him. Hes put more than practice into this. Its skills man practice can only get u so far.
in general, the most effective length for the chain or cord is the length of the span of your knuckles. the effectiveness of handling the nunchaku is dependent more on costomization for the individual than from a scientific perspective. as far as these nunchakus go, they are most likely graphite, as those are the most common for show. If you were hit with them it would hurt like the dickens, but would not hold up to many real strikes before breaking.
@Xaoja Any swing with a Nunchaku is lethal. Targeting is key and fatalities have occued self inflicted. The crushing force of alumminum nunchakus to a skull is roughly 20 lbs per square inch, or a simple over the head 'medium' swing.
Funny thing when you think that a single well timed strike from a baseball bat will bring this charade to a quick end, but, you cannot argue the skill, coordination and basic art form of this practitioner.
This is definately the best Nunchaku video on Etube, without a shadow of a doubt, i say better than matt emig, And ive seen pretty much all of the good ones, Nice Find kriztov, keep on posting the cool nunchaku video's, and ill be a very happy man.
