NUNO BETTENCOURT reflects on magazines and rock photography and Mark "Weissguy" Weiss iconic 80s Rock Photography book THE DECADE THAT ROCKED. Pre-order on AMAZON now bit.ly/Decadeth...
Gotta love Nuno. He seems to be so sweet, so kind, so loving and caring. And he can he shred on the guitar and has a great voice. His looks, don’t get me started. He’s beautiful on the inside and outside. His mama gets a lot of credit. She raised him right and that’s a beautiful thing.
Fuck yeah! I, love this Era, this was my Era, and I still live in this Era. Thank you to a the bands and artists during this Era. Respect to the max for creating generational music. Music that will be heard eternally. Eternally! Crazy, right? Nuno, I love this guy and the joy his guitaring, band, and music brings me, is out of this world. My, gym music, study music, my travel music, my work music. Still to this day. Respect and blesses.
Love Nuno. And I bought this book ‘the decade that rocked’ thinking that because he spoke about it, he’d be in it!! Nuno is not in the book. So disappointed!! It was sealed so I couldn’t look through it, otherwise I probably wouldn’t have bought it knowing he wasn’t in it! #nunobettencourt #markweiss
I worked for Guitar Center 1998 to 2002...a used N2 came in and my life changed..ive been a big collecter of N series Washburns..N2,N3,N4,N24's..but what i dont have and want more then any guitar over my 40 years of playing is the Charvel Nuno model that came right before him signing on with Washburn..also my 2006 N4 disapeared..the one with the big set screw on the volume knob..im looking for one of those also..i just got ahold of s beautiful blank slab of Alder and have an idea that id love to put in Nunos hands if it turns out well..Anyone happen to have a Davies era neck for sale?
No clue about finding good Nuno gear, but good on you brother for hunting it down and collecting it. I would like to have one of the Washburn Nuno series someday, He is a hero I wouldnt feel goofy emulating and fanning on about. Good luck hunting that neck! Another Extreme fan from the woods of NH.
It was the greatest decade as a fan living through it, so can’t imagine what it must have been like living through it as a band on that scene. Only wish I knew then what I know now, and I would have cherished every second of that era. Still great to see bands from that time like Extreme bringing out new material and playing it live
@@ottolofstrom3896 lol sorry took so long seeing , yeah lol we all hope next year. Nuno said they was recording it. lol yeah almost 13 years from the last one..
UNFORTUNATELY, THERE WASN'T ANY GOOD MUSIC ON THE RADIO, in NY, where I lived, in the 80's...So if there was music that didn't stink, I never got to hear it.... I went from stupid disco in CA, to crap for music in the sticks of upstate NY... so I musta missed a LOT.... I had never heard of you, (I was too busy making babies and,) working my tail off in our Restaurant. I REALLY LIKE SOME OF YOUR STUFF, THAT I RECENTLY HEARD THO. (Didn't know you existed, until Julian's two man video, with you in it... He's my Favorite Artist right now.
Sunset in the 80's was the largest gathering of misfits, but in the coolest way imaginable. Competition was fuckin fearce but it was a brotherhood, a family. If one band or artist "made it", it was like we all made it. We cheered each other on, we laughed, cried, fought, partied, and got laid together. I miss the camaraderie. Today, it's me, me, me. They called us the "me generation" but we were the "WE GENERATION".
I met you at the N.AM.M show in Anaheim. CA years ago and you won't remember me but you were very gracious and I love and respect your MUSIC ..... Cheers
Nuno, it's time for your to let Christina go. She wants kids one day. You know you won't give her that. Be selfless and let her go so she can find someone who will.
WAAF 107.9 Boston radio station in Massachusetts. I collect all circus magazines and I still have them i went to the news staind every month so I wouldn't have the mail sticker on them. Just a rock and roll fan.🤟🤟🤟🤟🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽
I like to buy RIP magazine, although CIRCUS was the first one I got into. Ah shit, I have to admit, I bought MetalEdge when I was a little fella, but I realized it was "thin" in regards to articles about the bands.
