Life stops for Suleiman in Hurrem's absence. While, Hurrem's children grieves after her death, Suleiman leaves his magnificence and falls into silence. Everything changes in the palace. Selim wants Rustem to take his own side. Rustem gets cornered by the big secret Selim learns about him. A new war begins between Nurbanu and Defne. Mihrimah suspects that Rustem and Gracia are having an affair and threatens Gracia. Selim tells everthing he had with Bayezid. As Bayezid tries to defend himselfi he gets betrayed. Mihrimah finds out about what happened and confronts with Selim. Suleiman inflicts a meaningful punishment on Bayezid. Bayezid gets subjected to injustice and shows a red flag.
An eternal winter begins for Suleiman after Hurrem's death. Suleiman leaves the magnificence in palace and falls into a deep silence. Hurrem's death will change not only Suleiman's life but everyone's. Bayezid loses his biggest support after his mother's death. However, Selim wants to take Rustem on his side. Rustem gets cornered after Selim finds out his secret even though he is determined to stay loyal to Bayezid. Nurbanu declares her era has begun. Nurbanu gets shocked by what the fortune teller who has oracled to Hurrem tells her.
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

That's why Fahriye was dumb in her way of handling this , she should have kept her mouth shut and sent a letter to mihrimah Sultan with the ring in the most discreet way possible, then Nurbanu would be done for.

Let’s be honest if they really had thought this through the best thing to do was tell mhirmah about the situation she NO DOUBT would’ve gotten that ring back.

Not really, they had no actual proof Nurbanu had the ring AT ALL. Trying to instigate a fight between Nurbanu and Mihrimah (who is either pregnant or had just given birth here whilst mourning with the brand-new responsibility of keeping the peace between Bayezid and Selim) when they had no 100% proof really wouldn't have benefitted anyone. It's also why they didn't tell Suleiman.

@@asurmenhandofasuryan4610 I promise you none of that would’ve stopped mihirmah we see how ambitious she is even in times of stress she is her mother and father through and through she already knew the type of person nurbanu was anyway from her mother telling and allowing her to know certain things so mourning and her being pregnant or what have you wouldn’t have stopped her if she knew she would most likely called nurbanu had her slip up and tell she had the ring or would’ve told her father which in mourning no doubt would’ve kill nurbanu solving the issue hurrem wanted to be done or she would have just terrorized nurbanu in such a way with them saying it was her so much that she would ultimately gave the ring up to her and either she and sulieman would have had it.

@@nasss._2995 Mihrimah couldn't kill Nurbanu at all when Selim made her into the Valide Sulta, what makes you think she'd have succeeded at all here? During this point in the show, Mihrimah couldn't even deal with Rustem. I like Mihrimah as much as you do, but let's be realistic, she's not Hurrem, she might take after Hurrem a lot, but they're far from the same. The stresses of everything would have absolutely stopped Mihrimah. Nurbanu is more like Hurrem in this situation than Mihrimah is.

But making her suffer for it yes, bc if she anything like her mother nothing is going to stop her bc you have to think about the anger it would made mihirmah feel for her to to take her mother rings off of her dead body. She would’ve no doubt got it back

That ring was her most cherished and loved treasure she loved. Nurbanu should never have had it stolen. It didn't do her any good. She lost selim after 8 years. Kosem it never gave her much either. That ring was Hurrems most loved treasure.

Honestly, let's be real, if Mahidevran managed to keep that ring or if it got given to Valide Hafsa, then she died first, younger Hürrem would have taken it from her cold, dead hands too.

When Nurbanu says she'll walk the same path as the late Valide Sultan, I assume she is referring to Hafsa Sultan who became Empress Mother and not Hurrem who died before this?

Who knows at this point, the writer barely knew what they were doing and probably mixed up Haseki Sultan with Valide Sultan in regards to Hürrem.

@@ΔημΣΚ Valide Sultan can only be named the living mother of a reigning Sultan, in which case that would mean Hafsa Sultan. Since Hurrem died before one of her sons became a sultan, she didn't become Valide Sultan. But she is the first Haseki Sultan, so maybe Nurbanu meant that she wanted to walk that path, and become a Haseki herself and be above everyone else except the sultan himself (and valide sultan if she were alive), in terms of titles and influence.

The greed for money and titles and positions by these people and what they will do to obtain their goals especially killing you're own brother without guilt or remorse.
