My assetto corsa without any customization looks identical i play 4k 60 with my 1080ti ryzen 1800x. It is so realistic game. The track and even the computer AI is very good. I bought the entire package with all the cars for 22$can ?? It is incredible. But my racing wheel 360 microsoft has a broken pad need to buy the tmx pro but there is none left with the covid..impossible to find one
What about project cars 2? I think that with the right settings, PC2 is a all around realistic game. Sound, graphs, physics.. but i never played assetto corsa...always seemed like a "cheap" racing game
@@jayriverside9547 With the right mods, AC is by far the most realistic game you can ever play. The current tyre model is also really good compared to the older one which basically made the game "understeer simulator". AC>PC2 in terms of realism.
@@MrJeffharper47 it's pretty old game and maxing it out is nothing much really. On the other hand there's a lot of mods, including graphic enhancement that you could tweak for days. I'm using one with some default settings, and yes - in VR. Never bothered to check FPS but didn't experienced any noticeable fps drops (I mainly drive hotlaps, alone on track). 1070 was really enough. Don't have it anymore so I can't confirm (switched to 3070). Also keep in mind that it won't look that good in actual VR as on youtube. There will always be some blur, visible pixels etc (depending on your headset, eyes etc.). Maxing it out isn't really necessary because you simply won't see the details. It's more about the experience than enjoying beautiful graphics. But that's just my opinion.
People, dont be fooled, when playing in VR, as in with a headset, it doesnt look like this. This is just a capture of what is shown on the monitor, which is exact mirror to what you see on the VR headset but way less quality.

I actually thought this was a live video for the whole time. I am 58 and a big F1 fan and I've always wanted to get a driving game set up so I can pretend I'm a racecar driver. What do you guys recommend as far as set ups .....is it all over 500$?
@@v_v9195 it's on Xbox one , PS4 and PC it's an amazing game and you can check out project cars and Forza Motorsport 7 as well , they are great with more cars and customization .... 🔥👌 You will enjoy and for sure they are simulation games , so you will lean how to be a good drive and Know the track good , before going into the track in real life 💖 , am racing around Nürburgring for 4 years now , first of all I did start playing simulator games and I did learn very well , when I did my first lap it wasn't taht hard tbh , thanks to those games 👌, so yep go for it bro wish all the best 💖✨
Playing racing games with VR is such a huge step up. And for a guy like me, who's used to play Gran Turismo, actually hearing the engine noise rather than someone vacuuming their house is such a different, more immersive experience.

He's OK, but he's taking corners way too wide, he's not defensive with his position and brakes too soon and not hard enough, leaves a lot of space so others can surpass him
he is driving pretty clean but he's obviously not really pushing for lap times and has TC and ABS on for as far as I can tell (maybe stability control as well).

@@SnaJKirE what frame rate were you playing it at? VR required really high frame rates for racing sims for most people not to feel queezy. Minimum 90 fps.
Really love AC in combo with VR, only problem is that I can't race without it anymore lol On a monitor can't get corners right anymore. Started with the Oculus Rift Touch and now also have the Oculus Quest 2.
If you want to play it on your Quest 2, you need to connect it to your pc. The game is on Steam and installed on pc. these are called PCVR games, VR headset connected to a good game pc
Even with shit graphics VR is 100% immersive and definitely improves the experience in every way. I can only imagine how good it must be ultra realistic graphics like this.
this would look better if u change the seating position. currently ur sitting like a busdriver who has bad eyes (or short arms) and therefore has to sit as close as possible to the screen lol.
Last time I was into gaming, the ps2 was the best available and we all thought it was so realistic . This is insane and proves I'm old and out of touch!! Is this on a PC or PlayStation?
Everyone thinks the graphics are amazing... but you are all BELOW what this guy is experiencing... this is VR, meaning everything is in full stereoscopic 3D and he can lean forward to read ANY button anytime... you have to try by yourself to understand... NO video can replace it.
Damn you! Now I’m gonna have to get off of my lazy ass and get my VR set back up on my sim rig. Been a while since I’ve ripped in VR. I need to try ACC as well and see if VR has improved since release.
what are you running for resolution? 1.5? 2.0? it looks great on video. Also this track looks way better better then the one I have, do you have a link? You using Sol and CSP as well? The lighting looks great. Must be an overcast setting where the light is nice and even
Yas, my nordschleife on AC looks better than gt7 and 100% better than FM. 8k retexture, 3D trees, new CSP preview, ultra everything and DSR. The water is what really tickles me in AC. It really moves like it should! Need to tweak the windshield dirt. Also neckFX works great but anyone know of a mod to make the hood cam bounce more? My only complaint is the grass is a bit too nice. Need some more dirty dead grass.
I just bought used oculus cv1 and to anyone who is not sure is it worth it IT WORTH EVERY PENNY. At monza in lotus exos i went from personal best 01.28.3 to 01.27.1 in like one hour of trying the feel of a car and how to break using trailbreaking is so much easier also puting car in better angle is so much easier. Imo if you can get cv1 cheap just but it. I played on ryzen 3600 and 1070 16gb ram and ssd game runs at 1080 very stable gameplay zero stuttering.
is this modded up to the hills? Or can AC look kind of like this out of the box. I like iracing, but Im not keen on shelling out for tracks and cars every season. I have AC, just gave up on it because it seemed a bit weird compared to PC2 and iracing
Noob quest I know but....surely the graphics can’t be this good when using VR? I thought it’s meant to be immersive but the graphics aren’t too good? Is this what the monitor screen wii,d show, whereas the VR goggles would have a much worse picture?
Don't be mislead, this is showing what you see on a monitor and not what you see in the Rift S headset. Which has a much lower resolution. Still fun to drive in AC though, assuming you have managed to boot the Rift and it has not fallen over in one of its many failure modes. Not forced you through setup again, or eaten the batteries since you last used it. Zuckerberg would be better fixing the worst software I have bought in years than trying to force me to sign up to his Facebook spyware.
