@@markw9512Agreed. He had plenty of chances to make a move/notify the GT4 driver he wanted to pass, and even passed on an opportunity. Personally I also like chasing other fast drivers who can drive well
Great stuff. He expected you to pass a couple times but a better video leaving him in front. You had a HP advantage that was clear uphill and after slowing for traffic. Your car is set up perfectly. The understeer is perfect and easy to use. ( I used to drive a Vette and now I have a Cayman) 😊
We’ve seen so many runs of this z06 on a bunch of channels. Let me ask you what other drivetrain could survive this beating that this car has taken. AND its over a decade old. Only a pushrod V8 and a Tremec with GMs rear differential can survive this beating. The brakes lines will catch fire before this thing gets taken out of commission.
Don't know how hard the Porsche guy was pushing his car but obviously you Could have gone around him anytime you wanted to you were just playing with him
Very fun to watch. Never seen a C6 z06 pushed like this. Very cool to see its potential. I once had an EVO IX and used to smoke the Z06 in our club (stock vs stock). But that guy had 1/100th the skill of you. If he had driven the car right, I'm sure I would have been completely destroyed. Nice job!
Incredible. During the video I kept on thinking about the movie JAWS... the shark destroying the back of the boat ORCA. There was no way the GT4 could withstand the challenge from this driver....and that absolute monster 427
The man in front always seems to struggle setting pace. I hate it for him. Unless you're Schumacher eating a Big Mac and sipping a Big Gulp driving with your knee. Then you're gone...
@@devinrice2059 This isn’t my car. 🙂 but another poster in the thread said it had about 100 hp overstock, I asked a question just now of the OP to see if this is correct
Poor lines from the porsche driver, extremely poor, like a school driver and still was a bit faster in some corners. The 100 hp difference was evident. Nice driving from the vette driver, what tyres was he on?
