Definitely helped. No one shoe fits all. I'll give it a try with the hope that it works for me. If not then like you, I'll have to return it. Just so you know, I - like many others - truly appreciate unbiased reviews like yours. Keep reviewing and stay unbiased and unaffiliated. Good luck!

Although 30 days seems a standard and reasonable trial I have heard that earlier surgical stimulator sometimes to many months or up to a year to work. This related more to migraine headaches, epilepsy and depression. I have also hear that stimulation through the ear does not work for many and a more powerful and reliable site is the neck. I have been using the sensate which vibrates on the chest for a month and feel no benefits but at least I find it very relaxing and certainly pleasurable. I heard from a neurologist that there is strengthening the vegus nerve as with the sensate and stimulating the nerve which can be stronger such as the neurosym. I also purchased a well known tens machine with ear clip for vegus nerve stimulation and found it quite comfortable and strong effect though trouble keeping the clip attatched, however apparently does an identical job to the neurosym except cost £70 complete.

I would like to share with you what I’ve tried for anxiety over the years. I’ve tried: 1-Neurofeedback 2- Taurine supplement 3- Aniracetam supplement 4- Meditation 5- HRV (heart rate variability) training 6- Exercise All those interventions did something to help with anxiety or made it worse but never solved it 100%. Now I’m trying Probiotic for the first time since I’ve heard that balancing your gut biome can help with anxiety. I believe people with chronic anxiety must continue the quest of trying all different methods and see what works for them. Also sometimes it could be a combination of those interventions. I’m on a mission to crack the code for anxiety relief for good, once I have achieved a significant success in anxiety relief I wish to setup a RU-vid channel or some platform to share with the world and help people relief their suffering.

Perhaps it can be a disbalance of hormones like cortisol. I'm currently testing Dr. Elizabeth Bright's dietary interventions. She has a lot of content on youtube about it.

GoodMorning Guys, I don’t want to speak too soon but I’ve been on probiotic now for approximately 2 weeks and there’s a noticeable improvement in my anxiety symptoms, like I mean a very noticeable improvement. But again I want to be certain about this before I mislead anyone. So I’m giving it more time to conclude that the probiotic is causing all this improvement but I’m certain it is.

Hello Mia , greetings from Turkey, my wife has epilepsy and uses 4 different medications, but there is still no full recovery. Will this vagus nerve stimulation device work on my wife?
@miajulio1702
@miajulio1702 2 месяца назад
@@Commentator-Analist the nurosym is supposed to work for anything related to the vagus nerve, so that includes epilepsy. However, every body reacts differently, so you can never know for sure until you try it out.

Yes. The return went smoothly. I did have to email back and forth to receive the return address, but they were quick to respond and quick to send the refund. I just had to pay for shipping.

After 7 months of use my unit failed, Nurosym seem reluctant to replace it, saying they are out of stock and have been for weeks, the unit has a 2 year warranty, have been offered half of what I paid for it as a refund.

The instructions say very clearly that you should use it for 60 minutes a day, 30 in the morning, 30 in the evening. You say you used it for 20 minutes... if you review something, you should read the instructions and use it as recommended to give a fair experience.
@miajulio1702
@miajulio1702 5 месяцев назад
The instructions included in the box didn’t mention any time recommendation. I read through the very short pamphlet several times to get it right. After watching as many videos as I could find about the nurosym, 20 minutes kept coming up over and over again. I did 2 20 minute sessions a day for a month. I believe that I gave it a fair chance. I also really wanted it to work, I believed in it, so I was in a great starting place to feel positive effects from it, even if just placebo. Like I mentioned in the video, I couldn’t feel any improvement after all. And that was just my personal experience.

I’d be very curious to hear about your experience with the nurosym. I’m sure your perspective could help many people who are considering giving it a try.

As a reinforcement of Mia's comment; nowhere in the instructions does it say any recommendation for time. There is a mention on intensity, where the manual clearly points out that the user needs to find an intensity that is comfortable and not painful. (Page 5 of 27) As for their FAQ on the website: /pages/d01 "How long should I use Nurosym each day for optimal results? We recommend using Nurosym for 1 hour each day, however, benefits can be seen with as little as 15 minutes of use."

I have a Nurosym and nowhere in the instructions does it say to use it for 60 minutes a day. Where did you read that?
@silviak6728
@silviak6728 3 месяца назад
If you use the little manual to set up the device, it does say to set it to 60 minutes. The reason they recommend 60 minutes is that all their testing was done on 60 minutes per day. That said, on their website they say you can do 30-60 minutes per day, either in one session or two. They recommend the morning, after waking up. At least I found one Nurosym response on their RU-vid channel that says that 60 minutes is ideal. and that one could try going up to 90 minutes, but they don't recommend any more than that because it can result in overstimulation. I would say it's advisable to do the amount of time on which they did their testing. I've just gotten mine and will use it for that time length because I want to match their testing time.

I watched another video before this and the creator showed some exercises you can do to stimulate the vagus nerve. I am a bit conflicted by this product - because the results are there for the people who benefit from it, however it may be financially out of reach. It's 700 Euro for me and even with a 30day money back guarantee, it's too much for me. I don't want fancy RGB lights, minigames to play during the session, or unique materials. But this doesn't give me a 700 euro experience. I can only guess the money is used to fund research, because I doubt it costs them over 50 dollars to produce this device. Unfortunately, there's a high chance this device stays out of reach for a lot of people. Disclaimer: I was looking into this to improve my general health and mind. I don't have any long covid, POTS, or other conditions that this device is helpful towards.
@miajulio1702
@miajulio1702 4 месяца назад
Yes, the price is definitely a huge hurdle for most people. I don’t think production wise it’s justified at all. I wish something like this was more affordable so more people could benefit.
