DIY hack for the curtains: wipe the curtain rod with wax paper (find it next to the parchment paper or foil in the store). When I worked in retail we would do this so the hangers would move smoothly on the poles.

It’s a good idea to keep your favorite clothes that he’s grown out of for baby number 2. Or you can save maybe his first year of clothes and have someone make a keepsake blanket. I gave all my babies clothes to friends and was bummed when I saw someone else do that idea.

...when dealing with a baby boy, we learned while changing our son when he was a baby (he's 8 yrs.now) we placed one wipe (not perfectly on his private but bunched up) while changing him and we just moved fast! lol, it worked. Sometimes when he peed the wipe soaked it up. Then we just wiped his private area again and quickly flipped that diaper on him. Blessings~

When our children were babies, their rooms were the most peaceful place in the entire house. It was the best peaceful vibe, relaxing. Its where I went sometimes to clear my mind when I needed to. Our daughter is 6 and her room is still the most peaceful place. Our son's room looks like a zoo sometimes...not peaceful! lol. Blessings~

When it comes to curtains my tip is get a piece of wax paper and rub the curtain rod with it. At least it works in retail clothing stores for the racks of clothes to glide along.

In ref to wipe warmer they do dry out. But I started adding water to the empty container and a little baby wash liquid soap. It really helps with those messy clean ups and freshens the baby's bottom. I use less wipes because of the added moisture and I tend to refill the warmer with water and baby bath soap every time I refill it with wipes. Hope this tip helps- stay healthy and safe😷👶🏽

Thanks for sharing, I love the decors you guys chose for the baby's room. As far as the wipes drying out, we experienced the same thing. We use to grab a chunk wet them with warm water then put it into the wipe warmer, that helped them not dry out as often, but they must be wet well. Now we just unplugged the warmer. Warm wipes are great (more so when cleaning a girl baby) but when one goes out the wipes arent warm anyway! Stay well and safe. Blessings~

I’m a little freaked by the “from heaven” voices and the whispering voices😂🤣😂😂😹 very very cute and nice neutral colors. Good idea of the baby shower theme and colors transferring to the baby’s room. It’s both money and time saving savvy.

Lol am I the only one who thought of the Teli-Tubbies vacuum cleaner Nunu when she said "cover up the baby's nunu"? I used to have a little Nunu plush keychain, and it instantly popped into my head when she said that lol. It was histarical! :) I had to really work at holding in my laughter; my husband wouldn't appreciate being woken up at this time of night after finally being able to fall asleep.

I saw you have the Nose Frieda. That is going to come in so handy, I've used it for my last 2 and it helps so much when they're congested or have a cold. I actually bought 2 one for downstairs and one for upstairs.

Very nice and functional. My friend has had a hard time with the Nannit.. It hasby brnr the best.. It records movement of yr baby as if if she was up.. so when you check your app.. the sleep hrs can be lower as every movement it has as awake tim...and it has started freezing up and acting up- 6months later.

I can co-sign on that diaper genie. 2 kids later and we still use it! Best registry gift!!

I'm so here for this! Been trying to figure out exactly what to get for our baby girl due in August but there's so much out there it gets overwhelming! For diapers though, maybe it depends where you live, but in Ontario if we return them the store throws them out! Best to donate them or sell them.

Hello!!!! Okay so curtain issue, pull down the bar one day when your cleaning the fan or the curtains the selves and use Wax Paper and rub the wax paper along the pole, curtain rod, itself and see if that helps!💛

For the wipe, pour a bottle of water in the middle of the wipe. You can also use distilled water. If they feel dry just add more water. No tap water. I used mine for about six years. When my children were not in diapers, I let them wash their face.

Lovely nursery I like the Safari theme and all the animals around! I'm due in June and we had to put the nursery planning on hold for quarantine, so we'll just have the crib in our room *if* it's delivered before birth lol! Painfully need Amazon to resume shipping to my country :( But looking at all the clothes I realize omg I haven't bought anything!! I mean only the minimum essentials, like a week's worth of undies and pjs for 0-3 & 3-6 months, and half a dozen swaddles and blankies. *Deep breath, trying not to freak out* yikes! Am I even considering the baby for a lifelong stay?? :0

Ugh wipes warmer... Can totally do without. With my first, I had one too and it would dry the top wipe. So then I started adding water and it worked but who remembers to add water every time? It's beautiful.

Definitely agree with not opening the diapers! Target will let you exchange unopened diapers for bigger sizes. I made that mistake too and spent more money than I needed to.

A life hack got the curtains to make them glide smoother!! Rub some wax paper on the bar! No residue, and they move smoothly!
