The nursing process Very simple: Collect info about the patient (A) She broke her leg. From that info, what problems do they have (D) she's in pain. Figure out how to help her (P) she needs a casting her leg, give prescribed pain medication. Give patient treatment (I) Administer morphine x times as prescribed. Did it work? (E) her pain went from 10 to 6 so she's doing better.
