Nclex review new Hello everyone! if you are reading this post that means you want to pass NCLEX right? Right! here is my story and journey through NCLEX RN. I graduated 12 years ago and 6 attemped with NCLEX (failed every time). I have roaming around on this website for awhile, but I was scared to post and ask for help each time I failed due to there are many people (nurses) that are very mean with their words in putting unsuccessful test taker like me down. Nurses should have compassion and empathy, being nice and being kind, well some of them are not. But I didn't quoted "all nurses" I said "some" because there are a few posts that I read it here on this website, they are also nice and encouraging to others failures. Luckily, one night I was studying late and got tired from doing too many questions, so I stopped and logged back onto this sited, then I saw a post asking for help on how to pass NCLEX RN and that person left an email, so I wrote it down and asked her for help she is a member of the NCSBN aslo used NCLEX Mastery, I couldn't afford others resources, and Mark Klimex audio. These three helped me passed this time around. Finally, I am officially an RN. I promised to God that once I passed, I will help others who's struggling to pass this test, I will do my best in helping them to pass. oh! don't forget to pray to God and to whichever your religion that you believe in. I work full time and English is my second language. If I can pass this NCLEX RN test, so can you. The most important thing is DO NOT GIVE UP! I almost did when I failed the sixth times, but I picked myself back up (I cried my eyeballs 👀 out each time though 🙂 and thanks to God! I didn't give up. If you have any questions, please leave me a contact point here, I will check it everday and I will help you to pass. Thank you for reading. I just want to shared my happiness moments with y'all. Spread love everywhere you go. Let on one ever come to you without leaving happier (mother graces ).whatsapp +1(970) 578 9743 Email ramseyowen196@gmail.com

Guys!! Just wanted to say that while this video is amazing there is no guaranteee that you will be able to make straight As all throughout. Everybody thinks/learns differently and the way the material is presented can also make a difference. My point is don’t beat yourself up if you can’t maintain all As throughout nursing school as it doesn’t Necessarily mean you will make a Good nurse. There are plenty of people who I knew who made straight As but sucked in the clinical setting bc of their poor social/interpersonal skills and difficulty with Basic clinical Skills.. I speak from experience too- I went from all As freshmen and sophomore year to Bs and high Cs my junior and senior year. It was a hard pill to swallow but I also had to give myself a break too- especially junior year as I would have distant clinicals Thursday, Friday, saturday, Sunday, drive back Sunday night, a local clinical Monday, classes Tuesday plus typing up my peds patient profile and patho (sometimes 8-30 pages long) That was due Tuesday at midnight and then either a med surg, peds, or pharmacology test Wednesday and then my med surg patient profile and patho to type up Thursday before midnight.. I was swamped and so I had to understand that I was just doing good to make those grades. Long story short, I graduated with a 3.7, passed the NCLEX with the minimum number of questions, got a job in neurosurgery, and have been in all accounts excelling as a nurse. So don’t let Bs and Cs get you down! You can and will still make a good nurse with these grades!!!!

I'm currently on my Associate's Degree, about to graduate hopefully in May and doing the Hesi on April so I can get in the ADN program by Spring next year. Watching these kind of videos instead of scaring me, they let me know what to expect and how to deal with it before it even happens! Honestly, in my experience as a born-raised Latina studying the US, getting the basic courses on the AS degree done with A's was not easy.... at least not at first; to summarize I got prepared for my exams exactly as I would do in a nursing school (2 to 1 week in advance) not just because the toughness of the material itself but to translate the material to actually understand it and study in peace. Full story comes here: On my first years due to this language barrier I barely passed with C's in some classes, and hit even harder when Anatomy 1 and 2 became part of them. I was so pissed that even started doubting if nursing was for me because "if I already failed (although I passed, I felt like I failed) on these classes, why is it worth trying to study for nursing at all?" After several visits to a counselor due to not having the family support I needed at the time, I realized it was not the person (me) that was wrong, but the methods used! Then the revelation came to me: If I studied hard, one week in advance but still got a 70 in a test, what am I doing wrong? I figured when asking that question to myself that I was constantly complaining on how I wished I'd still in my country so I can have the books in Spanish once again..... HOLD ON..... and why can't I? That day after I got my C on Anatomy 2 I promised to not force myself to learn the material in English solely, that instead to adapt myself to the stipulated, I would just grab it and take it to my advantage.... and so I did! I started to translate my notes right on the next semester and I noticed a huge difference to the best! My grades went up and after those previous deceptions I became picky and perfectionist with my grades, so much that I feel now I must get an A on every course I do (or just give my all, became if A didn't work and got a B instead, it is still good and did my best which matters) So with my story of overcoming, I want to motivate and inspire all the Latino, Greek, Hindi, Vietnamese and so many other foreign students that don't have English as a first language to not feel scared to use your own. YOUR EDUCATION AND YOUR UNDERSTANDING COMES FIRST, I know some might prefer to have their notes in English so they can "share them" or help a classmate in need or simply in an attempt to excel on the English language itself, but at the end, it doesn't happen because everyone will find their own ways to understand the material without relying on others, and when you don't understand what you're told in English (if you struggle with it) and try to force it anyway, nothing is going to stick and you will be the one on lose position. I hope my experience inspires all to excel on your study methods, since you are the one at play, use resources on your favor and believe me, that's a quality great nurses have and learn in the process ;) Don't ever give up on your dreams!

I’m saving this video and using that chart example. I have been taking notes on a notebook but for some reason it’s not doing it for me. But what I have found that works for me is once I have a good grasp on a topic. Such as the kidneys, I turn it into a paragraph as if I want someone else to read it and that sums up the topic una way that I can understand.

I failed my last semester by .3 points so I have to do over in fall. I’m going to do this. My dad died in January which is the only reason I failed.

Calista Vicente-Bradley I’m not great at math either. I had to do remedial maths in high school back in 2000. I had to take stats and chemistry last summer before starting my BSN program, and those taught me the kind of math we need to know. It’s dimensional analysis. If you start learning your metric table now, and watch the nursing med calculation videos you’ll get it in no time. RU-vid is a great learning resource for dimensional analysis, and I actually kind of enjoy doing it now. Never thought I’d say that about math; usually my eyes glaze over. The best advice I can give you is don’t get frustrated with yourself trying to cram with math. Allow yourself the time to learn it. RegisterednurseRN has a good video on that specifically. She’s a great resource. You CAN do it!! My books even say, we’re nurses, not mathematicians dimensional analysis is the way to go. Good luck!
