Kind of a long video but I hope you find it helpful.
Please 'like' my facebook page if you'd like to connect with me on a regular basis about nursing and nursing school! heatherheartsnursing
The examples used were found in Saunder's Comprehensive Review for the NCLEX-RN Examination as well as from my school's nursing tutoring website. I in no way own this content.

Love your videos! Would love to see how you organise your work e.g. folders, your planner, prioritizing tasks etc. And how you revise and take notes x

Boy you said it, "My knowldege from lecture is so much more than what my grade reflects." Sooo true and I feel the exact same way. I'm in my first semester and struggling somewhat with that. lol Also, these styles of questions are hard to get used to. I'm getting better though. Just made a video last night talking about this. lol Great video, Heather! Go get'em!

Excellent video! I enjoyed the test taking strategies. I totally understand how frustrating nursing tests can be. I'm in the 3rd semester of an RN program and I just got my first C on a test. I was a little disappointed, but in the end we just need to pass. Good luck to you and keep us updated!

yes, you must take a math class as a pre-req and we do dosage calculations every semester that you must pass in order to complete the program

i totally feel you! however, like i said, passing still gets you to graduation and taking that NCLEX so that's all you can really hope for... though i know i'm a perfectionist and want those As!

Hyponatremic patients, you would restrict fluid intake because your fluid balance is directly related to your sodium concentration in your blood.

hey heather, thanks so much for the helpful tips! when you had to dilute your protonix, did you put it in a 15 ml or 30 ml syringe? just curious! :)

I'm a CNA and I'm taking my TEAS exam next Monday and wanted to know if you could give me any advice on the math part. I'm horrible in math and probably will fail it, I have major anxiety and do not test well as it is. Any suggestions?

I dilute everything. Basically any drug has potential to be a vesicant.
